Charlotte Flair Sets WWE PPV Record, Velveteen Dream Shares Cryptic Messages

Charlotte Flair Sets WWE PPV Record

Charlotte Flair’s latest win made history for more reasons than one. The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was able to beat Carmella and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match to win the SmackDown Women’s Title at Sunday’s (August 19, 2018) WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on the WWE Network.

Not only did that title win make her a seven-time champion but it also made her the record holder for most WWE PPV wins of any female superstar. The company sent out the following photo on their Instagram account where they made the announcement of Flair’s accomplishment. She’s expected to address the attack by Lynch on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
