Jim Ross’ Twitter Account Hacked, JR Trends After Death Hoax

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is alive and well, contrary to the statement posted on his Twitter account late Saturday night.

JR’s Twitter account (@JRsBBQ) was hacked and posted the following FALSE statement that JR had passed away:

“We are shocked and saddened to bring you the news that Jim Ross has sadly passed away. Long time friend @WhiteLeedsSite was with him at the time of his passing and it was said to be very peaceful. We will be making a further statement shortly.”

“Jim Ross dead” was trending worldwide after the despicable act and several wrestlers had already began sending their condolences to their social media followers.  The Twitter account is currently suspended.
