John Cena Offers Cryptic Messages Following Shocking Heel Turn at Elimination Chamber

John Cena has made his first public comments since his shocking heel turn at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber PLE.

Cena was scheduled to address the media at the post-show press conference, but simply “dropped the mic” and left the event without saying a word.

With fans still processing what transpired over the weekend, Cena returned to social media to deliver what appears to be a justification for his actions. He tweeted:

“Have the discipline to do what needs to be done, especially when you don’t feel like it.”

While these motivational quotes from Cena have often left fans wondering if he’s subtly responding to current events, this one strongly suggests he’s attempting to rationalize his decision to turn on Cody Rhodes and align with The Rock, now known as “The Final Boss.”

Cena also posted a movie still on Instagram of character Harvey Dent from The Dark Knight. Dent, who would become supervillain Two-Face, said in the 2008 Batman classic, “You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”

Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena next month at WrestleMania 41.
