Charlotte Flair faced Asuka during the December 8th edition of WWE SmackDown. After contending with Damage CTRL’s presence, The lost her singles match, but she may have paid an even bigger price.
We also provided the video of an unseen angle of Charlotte Flair’s apparent injury. This was not a good situation for Charlotte Flair.
In the first video, it appears as though Charlotte Flair’s top rope moonsault to the outside is what caused the injury.
In the second video, you can see referee Charles Robinson talking in length with both Flair and Asuka, and she proceeds to stay grounded for a bit.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Charlotte Flair’s injury on SmackDown was legit. She needed to be helped to the back after her match, but no injury prognosis was given.
Unfortunately, we’ve confirmed that Charlotte Flair’s injury is legit. She had to be helped to the back and appeared to be in pain.
It looked like Charlotte Flair hurt her knee during that match with Asuka. There were a couple of spots that could have done the damage. In the end, The Queen needed to be escorted to the back after the match.
