Shayna Baszler Thinks There’s Demand For MMA vs. WWE Four Horsewomen Match

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler recently spoke with Ronda Rousey’s official website where she talked about a wide range of topics.

In this interview, she was asked about a possible MMA Horsewomen vs. WWE Horsewomen match. According to the champ, she thinks there will always be a demand for the contest by fans.

“We can make you want whatever we want to. Yeah, I think there is. I think that will always be there. That’ll always be there.”

Fans have expressed their interest in seeing this match since all of the stars are under contract with WWE.

Baszler, Rousey, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke represent the MMA Four Horsewomen while Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, and RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch consists of WWE.

Years ago, Rousey, Duke, and Shafir were dubbed MMA’s Four Horsewomen as an homage to the classic Ric Flair-led pro wrestling stable that started in 1985 and lasted through the late ’90s.

WWE presents the NXT TakeOver: Toronto II special on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena. At this show, the WWE NXT Women’s Champion will make her next title defense.

She will take on Mia Yim in one of the top matches featured on the card.
