WWE RAW Viewership Continues To Increase

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from in Memphis, TN at the FedExForum averaged 2.722 million viewers, up from 2.324 million the previous week. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • 8 pm – 2.775 million
  • 9 pm – 2.781 million
  • 10 pm – 2.610 million

The episode was expected to draw better viewership as WWE loaded up the show. Some of the matches that took place include Ronda Rousey & Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax & Tamina, The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) vs. The Lucha House Party, Bayley, Natalya & Nikki Cross vs. The Riott Squad, Finn Balor vs. Jinder Mahal, Bobby Lashley (w/Lio Rush) defeated Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to win the Intercontinental Title, and Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre and John Cena in a WWE Universal Title #1 Contendership Match that served as the main event.

WWE also hyped the Royal Rumble and the matches taking place at that show. WWE will keep up this momentum with its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the six takeaways here.

The show didn’t have to go up against major competition as it was the first episode since August that it didn’t have to go up against Monday Night Football or a College Football game.
