WWE RAW Viewership Sees Boost For Night 1 Of Paul Heyman Era

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Center averaged 2.496 million viewers, up from 2.275 million the previous week.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.676 million
  • Hour 2: 2.468 million
  • Hour 3: 2.345 million

This marked the first episode with Paul Heyman having more influence on the show as the Executive Director of RAW. His ideas for the show will be used more over time but what aired on Monday’s show was praised by fans. 

Some of the matches that took place include an Bobby Lashley vs. Braun Strowman, The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) vs. The Viking Raiders, Lacey Evans vs. Natalya, The Miz vs. Elias, Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins vs. Maria Kanellis & Mike Kanellis, and Ricochet vs. AJ Styles for the United States Title in the main event. 

The show also featured a surprise appearance by The Undertaker where he cut a promo on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre,
