Update On Ivar After Being Pulled From 3/25 WWE Monday Night Raw

0

The Viking Raiders’ Ivar wasn’t allowed to compete on the March 25, episode of WWE Raw, but fans shouldn’t expect to see him out of action for long.

In the run-up to the show, Ivar had been advertised to face Andrade in what’d be the second Raw match for the latter since his return to WWE. The former AEW star made his return to WWE as part of the Men’s 2024 Royal Rumble match that’d be won by fellow AEW alum Cody Rhodes.

Ivar Pulled from Raw

Shortly before Monday Night Raw went on the air, General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Ivar had been pulled from the show. Noting that the card is always “subject to change,” Pearce said that Ivar was “medically unable to compete.” He was replaced by Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci.

The Latest on Ivar

Ivar is said to be fine, according to sources who spoke to Fightful Select and he is expected to return to the ring soon. Sources did not reveal why the star had been taken out of competition in the first place.

Ivar as a Singles Superstar

It’s a good thing that Ivar won’t be out for long, as he’s been on quite the role as a singles Superstar. With Erik out of action, Ivar has been kept on TV and used regularly. This is quite the change from WWE’s past attitude of pulling both members of a tag team from TV if one member is injured.

Ivar has been impressing the right people within WWE with an October 2023 ‘Viking Rules’ match with Kofi Kingston receiving particular praise. The match, and Ivar’s overall willingness to work without Erik, have left WWE open-minded to using Ivar in a singles capacity in the future.

Judge Withdraws From Ted DiBiase Jr. Welfare Fraud Case, Jury Trial Pushed Back

0

Former WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase Jr. has seen his trial pushed back in relation to the largest case of welfare fund fraud in the history of the state of Mississippi.

DiBiase is charged with allegedly using two different companies to receive money from “at least five sham contracts.” DiBiase, according to litigation, received full or almost full payments regardless of whether sufficient, if any work, was carried out.

This is connected to a massive welfare scandal that involved several prominent names, including Ted’s father Ted Sr. Brett DiBiase, the brother of Ted Jr. has pled guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Judge Withdraws

Judge Carlton W. Reeves has recused himself from the criminal trial against DiBiase, though the reasoning behind this decision is currently not publicly known. In their place, Magistrate Judge LaKeysha Greer Isaac will now oversee the trial.

Trial Pushed Back

Because of this change, the trial against the former WWE World Tag Team Champion has been pushed back. He was originally set to face a pre-trial conference on June 21 and was scheduled to stand trial on July 16. Instead, DiBiase will face a jury trial on January 7, 2025.

What Has the DiBiase Family Said?

Ted DiBiase Jr. has pled not guilty to all charges against him and was released on an unsecured $10,000 bond. When asked for comment when leaving the court, he told WAPT-TV “Jesus loves you.”

Ted Sr., who reportedly received a $250,000 check from the Family Resource Center in fraudulent funds, has hit out at the case. The WWE Hall of Famer said in June 2023 that the case is “garbage” and that his family is being made into a “scapegoat.”

What’s Next?

If convicted, Ted Jr. faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison for the conspiracy count and a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison for each wire fraud count. He also faces a maximum of 10 years in prison for each count of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds and for each count of money laundering.

Wheeler Yuta Pulled From CMLL Event Amid Lengthy Absence

0

AEW star Wheeler Yuta has been forced to withdraw from a CMLL event as he is currently sidelined.

Yuta was slated to team with his Blackpool Combat Club teammates,  Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, & Claudio Castagnoli to face the team of Mistico, Volador Jr, Blue Panther, & Ultimo Guerrero for the March 29 CMLL show.

However, the promotion announced that Wheeler Yuta is not medically cleared to compete. Meanwhile, Matt Sydal has been announced as his replacement.

Official statement on Wheeler Yuta’s withdrawal

CMLL posted the following letter from AEW on Twitter/X:

Dear CMLL;

This letter is to inform you that WHEELER YUTA is not medically cleared for travel or any in ring activities at this time and will not be able to participate in your upcoming event. I have obtained authorization from Wheeler Yuta to share this information to CMLL and all involved. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. If you have any questions that I may be able to answer, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Wheeler Yuta is part of the Blackpool Combat Club

Yuta was roped in by BCC back in 2022 when he impressed not only the members of the faction, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli but also then-manager, William Regal.

Being mentored by the seasoned superstars, he has managed to hone his craft. His learnings from his teammates have been on display and it is needless to mention that Wheeler Yuta is thriving.

A few months back, while speaking with the Northeast Times, Yuta revealed what each member of The Blackpool Combat Club has taught him

“Claudio, he’s taught me about European uppercuts. He’s also showed me how to take care of my body, my condition, and how to work out in the ring through tag team matches. Moxley, he taught me how to unlock aggression, to turn it up a notch and to win any means necessary.

And Bryan is such an amazing technician. Little techniques you might not pick up on, but in the ring, they really matter. Bryan has showed me technique. And of course his Lordship, (William) Regal, has been immense in wrestling and in life.”

Yuta had last competed on the January 12 (taped on January 10) episode of AEW Rampage when he faced Eddie Kingston for the Continental Crown. It’s curious that an injury has not been disclosed by either AEW or Yuta himself, despite his lengthy absence from action.

We will now have to wait and see when Yuta manages to make his return to the squared circle.

Nick Aldis Admits Feeling ‘A Little Bit Betrayed’ After All In 2018

0

Nick Aldis has admitted that he felt a little bit betrayed after the All In 2018 event.

The independent PPV promoted by The Elite has proven to be one of the most important events in the history of wrestling. The show that started off as a challenge ended up being the catalyst of AEW’s formation and has changed the landscape of professional wrestling forever.

The SmackDown General Manager was an important part of this phenomenon. He defended his NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Cody Rhodes at the Sears Centre Arena. The bout is still remembered for the intricate storytelling leading up to it and the delivery of it.

While both the stars played their role in this feud perfectly, the results were not the same for them. The event propelled the American Nightmare into his current superstardom, but Aldis had to continue battling for relevance long after it. It was only after a bitter end to his relationship with NWA in 2022 that he managed to get an opportunity with WWE.

During a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, Nick Aldis was asked how he feels about the different paths their careers took after All In. He mentioned that playing the comparison can lead you to the rabbit hole of bitterness in wrestling but also admitted his disappointment at not being made aware of what was going on behind the scenes at the time:

“I think in this business if you start playing the comparison game, you can really go down a rabbit hole of bitterness and resentment very quickly. I felt a little bit betrayed when I found out that they were all familiar, they were all aware of Tony Khan, and they’d been sort of plotting this thing.

So then as we progressed a couple of months forward, it’s sort of like, ‘oh, that’s all already happening. That’s sort of a done deal.’ Sort of in that respect I guess I felt like I could have been informed of that sooner. But I just looked at it from the perspective of like, Well, that piece of business meaning Cody and I at All In, that did nothing but good things for everyone involved. It wasn’t like people looked at me and went ‘Oh he’s finished.’

We tore the house down and we had the match that everybody remembers. We had the real main event of that show. That built my credibility. Off the back of that, we were able to launch an entire show that at that time had a strong, sustainable audience. I landed a six-figure contract off the back of that also. Cody obviously, had a pipeline to a billionaire. It is a different, I only had a millionaire, he had a billionaire but, whatever. It’s all just part of the tapestry of your career.”

I Was The Right Guy Too: Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis made it clear later in the interview that he doesn’t resent Cody Rhodes in any way. According to the former NWA star, their match gave him an opportunity to show his talent and to prove that the big fight feel can be orchestrated outside of WWE too:

“I certainly didn’t resent Cody. If anything, I was grateful to Cody because the success of that show was certainly not [dependent on me]. They weren’t going to sell those…they sold those tickets, no matter what. I always say I didn’t draw the house but I felt like I made the show what it was.

I felt like if you take Cody and I’s match out of All In I think people remember it as a sort of really amazing achievement, as a sort of, almost like a giant crowdfunding exhibit like ‘Wow. I can’t believe that these guys got together and they managed to sell 11,000 seats to an arena. That’s really cool.’

But I felt like what Cody and I’s match did was kind of show that it can be done outside of WWE. Like a moment, storytelling, emotion. the big fight feel. The delivery of the big match and the fairytale ending can happen somewhere else with the right guys. Look, Cody was the right guy, but I was the right guy too. I felt like it underlined me as ‘this guy could do it too.'”

Did You Spot Paul Heyman’s Suspicious Cameo on 3/25 WWE Monday Night Raw?

0

The March 25, episode of WWE Raw was a truly stacked show, meaning fans may have missed a suspicious appearance by The Bloodline’s Paul Heyman.

Raw took place in Chicago, IL, less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 40. The show saw a surprise appearance from The Rock who left Cody Rhodes a bloody heap with an assault to close out the show. This attack has not gone unnoticed by others in the Rhodes family.

CM Punk’s Segment on Raw

WWE Monday Night Raw also saw an appearance by CM Punk, who shared a segment with his two biggest rivals: Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Amid personal digs, humorous quips, and a nod to Vince McMahon, it was announced that Punk will be on commentary when McIntyre challenges Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. An agitated Rollins delivered a stomp to McIntyre to close things out.

Paul Heyman’s Cameo on Raw

During a backstage segment featuring the New Day and DIY, Paul Heyman could be seen in the background, speaking to Drew McIntyre. On Twitter, the WWE on TNT Sports account brought attention to this interesting development.

Drew McIntyre & The Bloodline

McIntyre’s issues with The Bloodline are well-documented, as it was the debuting Solo Sikoa who cost the Scottish Warrior his shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle in 2022. McIntyre would also stand against The Bloodline in that year’s Men’s WarGames match, but would once again come up short.

With that said, Drew has a lot to gain by forming a pact with The Bloodline. One day before McIntyre challenges Seth Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion will team with Cody Rhodes to face The Rock and Roman Reigns. McIntyre will no doubt be hoping that The Bloodline softens up the Architect ahead of their title match on WrestleMania 40: Sunday.

Rhodes Family Bites Back: The Rock Made “His Worst Mistake” with WWE Raw Assault on Cody

0

The Rock’s assault on Cody Rhodes did not go unnoticed by the American Nightmare’s family, who are looking for revenge on the ‘Final Boss’ of WWE.

The March 25, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw saw a surprise appearance by the Brahma Bull in Chicago, Illinois. In the closing moments of the show, The Rock delivered a vicious beatdown on Cody that left the popular Superstar a bloody mess.

The Rhodes Family Responds

Immediately after WWE Raw went off the air, the Rhodes family had some choice words for The Rock. In a tweet, Dustin Rhodes didn’t mention the Great One by name but made his views abundantly clear.

Brandi Rhode suggested that The Rock could be the victim of an assault himself after this week’s Raw and said he should keep security tight at WrestleMania 40.

Teil Rhodes, the sister of Cody, made clear that The Rock had made a grave error with his bloody beatdown on the 2023 & 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble winner.

More Reactions

The assault was also noticed by those within wrestling outside of the Rhodes family. On Twitter, Alexa Bliss shared her reaction to the attack via an emoji.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Damian Priest was left wondering where the security was as The Rock assaulted Rhodes.

What’s to Come?

The Rock will be on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Brooklyn, in what’ll be the go-home show before WrestleMania 40.

At WrestleMania 40: Saturday, Rhodes and Rock will be opposing teams, as they’ll team with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns respectively. The match will determine the stipulation for the following night’s Undisputed WWE Universal Title match between Rhodes and Reigns.

No matter if it’s ‘Bloodline Rules’ or if the Bloodline is banned, this will be Cody’s final shot at the Tribal Chief, an edict made by The Rock as a TKO board member.

The Rock’s Ruthless Assault Leaves Cody Rhodes Bloody on 3/25 WWE RAW

0

WrestleMania 40 is less than two weeks away, and they are putting things into overdrive. WWE RAW was in Chicago this week, and they closed out the show with an attention-grabbing segment.

The Rock and Cody Rhodes’ feud is heating up, and they amplified that during the March 25 episode of WWE RAW. This also included Cody Rhodes bending one of WWE’s longstanding rules about bleeding on television.

WWE doesn’t feature blood a lot anymore. The practice of blading is really a thing of the past. They made an exception this week, as Cody Rhodes bled to hype his feud with The Rock. This was quite a ruthless way to close out WWE RAW this week.

Brutal Ending For WWE RAW

The March 25 episode of WWE RAW ended in brutal fashion, as The Rock got physical with Cody Rhodes, but the Final Boss was the one who delivered all the punishment.

Cody Rhodes took a beatdown from The Rock backstage. Then things spilled out into the rainy Chicago night. This was also a bloody ordeal.

After The Rock beat Cody Rhodes down, pummeling him several times, the camera finally panned down to see Cody wearing a crimson mask. Then The Rock pulled out a weight belt that said “Mama Rhodes” on it.

The Rock smeared Cody’s blood all over that weight belt, and it was a gruesome sight for WWE’s TV-PG programming. This is also a rarity to see blood on WWE television.

How It Started

The Rock was not happy about how things ended during the opening segment with Cody Rhodes. He whispered something in Cody’s ear at the end of the segment, and fans didn’t hear what he had to say. It probably had something to do with this beatdown.

Many fans thought that The Rock said, “tonight I’m gonna make you bleed” to Cody at the beginning of the show. If that is the case, then he certainly fulfilled that promise.

SEScoops will have even more on this story, and so much more. Please keep checking back for continued updates.

Becky Lynch Shares A Good Laugh About The NSFW Photo In Her New Memoir

0

As the anticipation builds for the official release of Becky Lynch memoir, ‘The Man’ looks back on her bold choice to include a risqué photograph of herself and husband, Seth Rollins, in its pages.

Two weeks ago, Lynch and Rollins created quite the buzz when an image surfaced of two clad in nothing but championship gold. The photo in question was snapped by Lynch shortly after WrestleMania 35 — a period of time in which Rollins was equipped with the WWE Championship, while Lynch simultaneously held the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. To the surprise of many fans, and Rollins himself, this NSFW photograph was revealed as a part of Lynch’s new book.

‘It’s Just Funny’

During a recent interview with Clutch Points, Lynch shared a good laugh about the photo, noting that it was bound to spring up at some point.

“It’s just funny. It had to get out in the world at some point — it’s just too silly and fun not to,” Lynch said. “It was one of those things that [happened because Seth] and I are at the worst at taking photos. We just never take photos together. And so that was the day before I was going to lose one of those titles and I was like, ‘We gotta get this done otherwise I’m not going to have it.‘”

“We’d just gotten back from Europe on a two-week tour. We were both exhausted and it was just like, ‘Alright, let’s go. It was just so funny and silly.'”

“Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Girl” will officially hit bookshelves on March 26. Fans also purchase a copy through major retailers, such as Amazon, online.

CM Punk Declares WrestleMania 40 Role During 3/25 WWE RAW

0

CM Punk injured his tricep during the Royal Rumble match, and that took him out of a WrestleMania 40 match. He will still be around for Mania, and he made that clear as he showed up for RAW in Chicago.

The Second City Savior showed up on WWE RAW this week, and they pushed the limits. Punk made reference to Vince McMahon calling McIntyre the Chosen One years ago, and he even broke the TV-PG rules.

In the end, it was decided that CM Punk will be on commentary during Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre’s match at WrestleMania 40.

Punk Takes Over WWE RAW

CM Punk received a huge ovation as he made his entrance on RAW this week. His promo started off with a huge pop, and then he mentioned Pat McAfee’s show, and how he had Roman Reigns on as a guest. Punk said he didn’t listen to it, because he listens to The Experience and the Drive-Thru, which showed love to Jim Cornette’s two shows.

He mentioned how Roman Reigns was on Pat McAfee’s show recently, and he had some trash to talk about Punk. That is when Punk said that he has a feeling he will cross paths with the Tribal Chief soon.

Then, CM Punk directed his attention to Drew McIntyre, and the Scottish Warrior came out to make his presence known. He trash-talked Punk, saying that he prayed for his injury.

While Drew McIntyre showed off his merchandise with CM Punk’s name on it, the Second City Savior said that he never had to put another man’s name on a t-shirt to sell it. Then McIntyre wondered why, as a straight edge guy, CM Punk spends all of his time in rehab.

Punk invited McIntyre into the ring, but he didn’t take him up on it. Drew said he was afraid that Punk had a weapon hidden in the ring. Punk laid down on the mat, and then McIntyre crossed his legs and sat on the announce table as they continued.’

Drew McIntyre said he was the Chosen One. Then Punk asked who chose him, “go ahead, say his name!” Drew remained silent, and only smiled. That was, of course, a reference to Vince McMahon.

Seth Rollins entered the situation next, and the Chicago fans sang his song in a big way. Then he got down to business to hype his WWE World Heavyweight Title match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL.

Rollins asked fans if CM Punk should be on commentary during his match, as fans chanted “referee.” Rollins said that Punk’s injured arm is his “counting arm,” which caused Punk to get on the mat and count 1-2-3. Then Punk said, “to be fair I don’t think I could be objective with these two dip sh*ts.” McIntyre quickly replied, “PG, brother.”

In the end, CM Punk said that he will put on a headset and call CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40. This decision drew a very positive response from fans.

WWE’s Original WrestleMania 40 Plans

CM Punk was originally slated to face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. Cody Rhodes was always going to win the Royal Rumble, but an injury angle was going to take him out of action.

The Rock was initially going to take on Roman Reigns in the main event, with Cody waiting until later to cash in his Rumble win. After Punk’s injury and the #WeWantCody reaction from his “Cody Crybabies,” WWE changed the WrestleMania 40 card to what we have today.

Silent Showdown: The Rock & Cody Rhodes Share Intense Moment On 3/25 WWE RAW

0

The Rock made his return to WWE during the Day 1 episode of RAW on January 1st. He gave Cody Rhodes credit later on, but the two are certainly not on the same page now.

WrestleMania 40 will go down on April 6 and 7. The Rock is slated to make his return to the ring in a tag team match. That was not the original plan for The Rock’s Mania match, and you can find details about how that drama to change the show of shows went down.

Cody Rhodes opened up WWE RAW’s March 25 episode in Chicago with a promo about his road to WrestleMania. Then The Rock joined him, but things did not develop into any kind of verbal warfare at all.

The Rock’s Silent Promo

Fans in Chicago were on fire for Cody Rhodes’ promo. He got everyone in the building to point at the WrestleMania sign, a sign of solidarity as he faces two nights of stiff competition in April.

The Rock on WWE RAW, March 25 in Chicago

Suddenly, The Rock’s music hit and The Final Boss emerged. The Windy City crowd popped again as the Hollywood juggernaut made his way to the way.

Fans were expecting a promo from The Rock, but he did not say a word. Instead, stood in the ring, silent, staring Cody Rhodes down. Neither of them had a microphone in their hands.

The two stood there for a couple of minutes, and several chants, including “CM Punk” broke out. Then, The Rock simply walked over to Cody, whispered something to him, and left.

Fans booed Dwayne Johnson as he left the ring, as they didn’t see any physical confrontation. They also didn’t get to hear him say a word in the microphone. Cody Rhodes was left in the ring, silent, looking perplexed, but still ready for a fight.

After the commercial break, The Rock was asked what he told Cody in the ring, and he said, “Go ask Cody Rhodes,” before walking off.

WrestleMania 40 Plans

Cody Rhodes and The Rock will finally have a chance to throw down during the first night of WrestleMania 40. They will be involved in a tag team match, where Cody and Seth Rollins will take on Rock and Roman Reigns.

The winner of that tag team match will determine the stipulation for the Undisputed Universal Title match the next night. As of this writing, The Rock is not announced for any more WWE appearances or matches after Mania.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of WWE’s road to WrestleMania 40. Please keep checking back for breaking headlines.

WWE Heavily Discussed Kevin Owens vs The Undertaker At WrestleMania 32

0

WWE has a lot of plans in motion, but they can’t all come to fruition. Sometimes, someone returning to the mix can change everything as well.

WWE discussed the idea of Kevin Owens facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32. The Undertaker instead confronted Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match.

Kevin Owens vs The Undertaker Was Planned

The Undertaker battled Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32. That was quite a match, and it included a viral moment with Shane-O Mac falling from the side of the cage, but it wasn’t the original plan that they discussed for the show of shows that year.

Kevin Owens kicked off WrestleMania 32 by defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match against Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sami Zayn, Sin Cara, and Stardust. Ryder won the title that night, and started a one-day reign as Champion.

Owens told Joe Baiamonte of WrestleSphere that there was a plan at a certain time that Undertaker was supposed to be his first-ever WrestleMania opponent. Then Shane McMahon returned and that set up a Mania match against the Phenom.

“I think things just shifted and that was the year that Shane McMahon returned, so obviously at the time, my standing in the company compared to Shane McMahon coming back after all those years, the thought was probably ‘Shane McMahon versus The Undertaker is a huge match. I know it was on the table and it was heavily discussed and it would have been amazing. My first WrestleMania, to be in there with The Undertaker, would have been sweet. It didn’t happen, but I’ve been in the ring with him. I was actually in the ring with him in the main event of a Madison Square Garden show, so I got to do that with him which was really cool,”

What Happened Next

The Undertaker and Kevin Owens never had their WrestleMania match. Then, Taker retired from in-ring action with a Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.

Kevin Owens is booked in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 40 for the United States Title. Logan Paul will have quite a challenge ahead of him as he defends his title against Owens and Randy Orton.

Shane McMahon hasn’t been seen in WWE since last year’s WrestleMania event. He was injured during a short match, which Snoop Dogg had to finish for him.

WWE’s Plan For Carmelo Hayes’ Main Roster Call-Up

0

WWE has their eye on the NXT brand, and they have big plans brewing for two breakout stars, as Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams’ rivalry is finally come to a head.

NXT Stand & Deliver will go down on April 6, the afternoon prior to WrestleMania night 1. The night will include some of the biggest matches NXT has to offer, and one match has received a ton of attention that doesn’t even have a title involved.

WWE already has plans to call up Carmelo Hayes. There are also quite a few eyes on Trick Williams, and some are pulling for the two to bring their feud to the main roster. Right now, WWE has significant plans for NXT superstars Carmelo and Trick, and Shawn Michaels is heavily involved in crafting the storyline, indicating its importance within NXT.

Carmelo Hayes’ WWE Main Roster Plans

WWE has significant plans for two NXT superstars. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams have been a duo for most of their time in NXT. Recently, Hayes turned on Trick, leading to a showdown between them at NXT Stand And Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.

Corey Brennan of Fightful Select was told that WWE has their eye on a main roster call-up for Carmelo Hayes this summer. He has been tapped for a call-up since before the Royal Rumble event.

Many have asked us about what the status of both men’s callups are. One source told Fightful Select that Carmelo has been set for his main roster callup since prior to the Royal Rumble and is expected to move up to the main roster fulltime in the summer.

It was also noted that WWE has paid attention to Trick Williams, and “officials took notice of the reaction Williams got in his surprise SmackDown appearance back in January.”

At this point, there have been pitches for the pair to continue their rivalry on the main roster after Stand And Deliver.

Trick vs Carmelo at Stand & Deliver

It was also reported that the current intention for Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes’ match at Stand And Deliver to close the show. While not yet confirmed, there’s a strong push from officials to give this intense storyline the main event spotlight.

Shawn Michaels has been heavily involved in Trick and Melo’s story. He has been instrumental in planning and shaping the storyline alongside Carmelo and Williams. HBK has been a huge fan of Carmelo for a while now.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of WWE NXT, and Stand & Deliver. Please keep checking back throughout the day for updates as they are made available.

WWE News: Largest Crowd In Nearly 5 Years For Monday’s Raw from Chicago

0

WWE is having an incredible run heading towards its milestone event, WrestleMania 40, next month. Ahead of the ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All,’ the company will hold WWE Monday Night Raw tonight in the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It is on track to be a sold-out show, and it’s expected to have the brand’s biggest crowd in five years.

Wrestlevotes shared on Twitter that tonight’s show is on pace to have the highest attendance since the April 8, 2019, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. It’s worth noting that the event occurred that night after WWE WrestleMania 35 and had an attendance of 15,741.

Tonight’s episode is not expected to surpass the episode from 2019 but is on track to have over 15,000 in attendance. WrestleTix reported on Twitter that 61 tickets were left at noon, and they distributed 14,961 tickets. However, as of this writing, Ticketmaster has 25 standard admission tickets.

WrestleTix also noted that the last time the company hosted the venue was for WWE Survivor Series on November 25, 2023. However, the show had a higher attendance, with 17,102.

If the rest of tonight’s tickets are bought, the attendance for tonight’s show would be 15,022. On Ticketmaster, tickets are available for resale for as low as $70 and as high as $535. The tickets that aren’t on resale are on the side of the entrance area, so it’s unclear if fans will want to purchase them. However, tonight’s show may be intriguing enough to be a completely sold-out show.

Preview Of Tonights Episode Of WWE Monday Night Raw

One of the big selling points of the episode is the promoted return of CM Punk. The WWE superstar has been off TV rehabbing a torn tricep that he suffered at WWE Royal Rumble on January 27. It’s expected he will have a segment on the episode with Drew McIntyre, who has been taunting him for weeks.

The episode also announced three matches, including one between Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura. Uso hopes to build momentum for his match against his brother, Jimmy Uso, at WWE WrestleMania 40. Another bout on the card has Candice LeRae taking on Ivy Nile. LeRae is being positioned as a ‘Heel,’ and the contest will likely continue her storyline with Maxxine Dupri.

Tonight’s episode is another indicator of the company’s momentum toward its biggest event of the year. Fans attending the show may be in store for a great episode that continues to set the stage for next month’s WWE milestone event.

Ronda Rousey’s WWE Regret: “I Really Wish My Last Run Was Under Triple H”

0

Former WWE superstar Ronda Rousey tells it all in her new book, Our Fight: A Memoir, which will be released on April 2. She is promoting the book ahead of its worldwide release, and she has been opening up about her career in WWE.

In an interview with Cageside Seats, Rousey detailed her frustrations with her time at the company and how she felt mismanaged under Vince McMahon’s regime.

Rosey also noted that even when McMahon retired on July 22, 2022, his influence was still felt through WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard. Ultimately, McMahon would return, and Rousey left the company the following year. However, McMahon’s leadership also changed, as he resigned from the company and TKO Group Holding on January 26 after being alleged of sexual assault and sex trafficking by former employee Janel Grant.

WWE COO Triple H & Ronda Rousey (July 2017)

WWE President Nick Khan currently leads WWE, and Levesque is the Chief Content Officer. In the interview, she spoke highly of Levesque and wished he was entirely in charge, dating back to her return to WWE in 2022.  Rick Ucchino transcribed the following quotes:

“I’m so glad that it’s getting turned around,” Rousey said after certain changes were brought to her attention. “Triple H has been great towards the women in the company and really believing in us. He’s the whole reason that I was there, ‘cause he believed in me. I really wish that my last run was under Triple H running things and Vince being gone.”

Ronda Rousey Recalls Conversation With Paul Levesque & Calling WWE Mediocre

Rousey also revealed that WWE wanted her to stay before she decided to leave last year. She lost her last match in the company against Shayna Baszler at WWE SummerSlam on August 5, 2023. Before the final appearance, the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion detailed her conversation with Levesque in her book.

In a meeting to get her to stay, Rousey shared that she felt it was time to move on and even called WWE mediocre at the time.

“I had a long sit down with Triple H, and I was like, ‘I can’t be associated with mediocrity.’ And that’s what they seemed to be happy with at the time. And I hope that is different now, but I can’t say… that I’ve ever experienced it any other way,” said Rousey.

If Levesque had more creative control in WWE two years ago, Rousey may have decided to re-sign with the company. However, the issues behind the scenes were enough to make the former UFC superstar walk away for good.

First Look At ‘WWE: Nex Gen’ Series Premiering April 1 on Roku, John Cena Executive Producing

0

Last year, WWE announced their plans to film a new docuseries following the journey of several men and women as they look to become WWE Superstars. As per the original press release, this docuseries is set to air eight episodes, highlighting both the challenges and triumphs as WWE narrows down the pool of hopefuls from thousands to a select few.

WWE: Next Gen

Earlier today, WWE confirmed that the series, titled “WWE: Next Gen,” will stream for free on the Roku Channel beginning next Monday, April 1.

Per the series’ official trailer, Matt Bloom, Big E, and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will act as the coaches throughout the grueling recruitment and training process. “WWE: Next Gen” will also feature special appearances from Bianca Belair, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Executive producers for the project include the likes of Arthur Smith, Frank Sinton, Ian Mallahan, Dan Baime,  and 16-time world champion John Cena, who can also be seen giving a pep talk to several of the WWE hopefuls in the trailer.

Cena’s Excitement

After filming for “WWE: Next Gen” went underway last year, John Cena stated that he was particularly excited to be a part of this exclusive series.

“Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE Superstar. I am so excited to bring ‘[WWE: Next Gen]’ to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality,” Cena previously told The Hollywood Reporter.

Drew McIntyre Visits Chicago Landmark Connected To CM Punk’s Rant Before AEW Brawl Out

0

CM Punk is out of action as he recovers from a triceps injury. WWE is in Chicago for RAW this week, and Punk will be there. McIntyre will be there as well, and he isn’t letting go of their beef.

Drew McIntyre visited a spot in Chicago to take a little jab at the Second City Savior while he was there. Mindy’s Bakery provided Punk with the muffins he ate while he ranted about the Young Bucks and Colt Cabana just before Brawl Out went down. McIntyre doesn’t want Punk to forget about that.

Drew McIntyre’s Latest Troll At CM Punk

CM Punk went off during the 2022 AEW All Out media scrum. He was angry, bloody, and hungry. As he vented after the pay-per-view, he also ate some muffins from Mindy’s Bakery. That spot has become a very famous location for pro wrestling fans, and Drew McIntyre couldn’t resist.

WWE is in Chicago for RAW this week. Drew McIntyre will be there, and he will continue his road to WrestleMania. The Celtic Warrior couldn’t help but take a shot at CM Punk before the show.

McIntyre showed up at Mindy’s Bakery, with a CM Punk shirt on, and he was very happy to see the establishment first-hand. Sadly, they are closed on Monday and Tuesdays, so he didn’t get anything to eat.

CM Punk will be on RAW this week. He could bring a very unexpected element to the show. McIntyre will be watching that segment closely, and he will also be ready for Punk’s return from injury.

Drew McIntyre’s WWE Future

At last report, Drew McIntyre has not inked a new WWE contract. The former WWE Champion’s deal is set to run up after WrestleMania.

WWE is advertising McIntyre for events after his contract is set to expire. The fact that he is giving so much effort into trolling CM Punk is also a possible sign that he plans on sticking around.

McIntyre’s contract did have some time tacked onto it as an extension due to time he got off due to injury in 2023. SEScoops will have more on this story, and many more, so please keep checking back throughout the day.

NFL to WWE: The Miz Offers to Train Jason Kelce If He Wants to Make Pro Wrestling Jump

0

Philadelphia is going to be booming for WrestleMania. Celebs like Meek Mill may be around for the show of shows. You also never know who will make an appearance to take in the showcase of the immortals.

WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, and there are a ton of potential appearances for the show. Former Philadelphia Eagles standout Jason Kelce and his brother, Travis Kelce may just show up. If Jason wants to train in the ring, The Miz is even down to help out.

The Kelce Brothers in WWE

Seth Rollins already extended an invitation for the Kelce brothers to attend WrestleMania 40. They might just take him up on that offer.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, The Miz was asked about the idea of the Kelce brothers’ potential venture into the pro wrestling world.

“The way I look at is [as] more of a fan of the Kelces. I’ve played golf with Travis, and what an incredible human being. Even when we were golfing, I was like, ‘When are you coming to WWE? When are you coming to WrestleMania? Jason, I’ve never met him, but those are Cleveland guys, and that guy, he’s played for Philadelphia, it seems like a home run to me. But who knows? He’s retired. He might just want to relax and chill out. Or he’d like to come to Philadelphia for WrestleMania,”

The Miz Offers to Train Jason Kelce

The Miz expressed interest in training Jason Kelce to become a WWE Superstar, “Hell yeah. I’d train him into a superstar. As big of a superstar as he is in the NFL, we’ll make him as big of a superstar in WWE. He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring.”

He highlighted Jason Kelce’s athleticism and charisma, suggesting he could excel in various aspects of WWE. Additionally, The Miz acknowledged Kelce’s versatility and suggested promising opportunities in WWE or other ventures.

The recently retired NFL center’s future endeavors remain uncertain, so he jus may take The Miz up on that offer.

The Undertaker Reacts To Paul Heyman’s Hall Of Fame Induction

0

Paul Heyman is arguably one of the most influential managers of the wrestling business of all time. From Steve Austin to Jimmy Snuka and from CM Punk to Roman Reigns, the former ECW promoter has been an instrumental figure in the careers of some of wrestling’s biggest names. The Undertaker is another such guy who credits Heyman for his early success in wrestling without which his legendary WWE run may have never started.

The Dead Man talked about the legendary manager being announced as an inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024 on the latest episode of his podcast. He said that the accolade is well deserved and discussed the many ways Paul helped him out when they got paired together in WCW:

“Hall of Fame man. Well-deserved too. Not only has he got like a brilliant wrestling mind. But even for as long as he’s been involved in the business and around, he’s still so passionate. He’s one of those guys like Paul Bearer was the same way with me. When he was managing Brock and obviously now he’s managing Roman Reigns. He is so invested in those guys and their well-being, their decision-making.

When I went solo in WCW, after Danny left, they put Paul with me. He was so instrumental in keeping me sane because I was so frustrated there with what they were doing with me. Obviously, the infamous meeting that I had with WCW’s upper management. He was such an advocate for me, in the sense of getting me to Bruce [Prichard], who would eventually get me to Vince [McMahon] and that whole thing.

He was a little better off than I was, I wasn’t making any money. A lot of times, he would just pick up the rental cars instead of us splitting it or help me out when he could, but obviously, the biggest contribution on my part with him was just that connection to get me out of WCW and into an opportunity with WWE”

Paul Earns His Money: The Undertaker

The Undertaker then discussed how Paul Heyman not only plays the part of an on-screen manager for any talent he is paired with but also acts as a real-life advocate for them behind the scenes:

“Paul, if he’s passionate about an idea, or his guy is passionate about an idea, he will flat out go to battle. It’s not his hill really to die on, but he will. He truly is representing, what they feel is the best move for where they’re positioned. Not every manager is like that. Not every manager is as invested as Paul is.

Paul can be brash and he can say some things that will ruffle your feathers. But overall he’s very smart about the business. He’s totally invested. A lot of times too, he’ll go and rely things that maybe his guy doesn’t wanna do. ‘Hey what you think about this.’ Paul earns his money man. He does a really, really good job of advocating for his guys.

Not everybody is that invested. But he’ll fight and argue and try and get his point across and change people’s minds which is what you want. As a talent sometimes, you’re trying to focus on ‘Okay, I have to focus on this match’ and whatever that might be. So it’s nice to have somebody, who is so knowledgeable of the business, going in there and not to say politicking, but being an advocate.”

CM Punk Got Jokes Ahead of 3/25 Chicago WWE Raw

0

CM Punk is ready to spit fire on Chicago. Punk will make his long-awaited return to the Windy City under the WWE banner tonight on WWE Raw and he has clearly been taking note on what’s been going on television and at live events.

On his Instagram stories very early Monday morning, Punk shared a doctored photo of him and Cody Rhodes closed-eye kissing with the caption:

“I see what Rhea Ripley been doing on house shows and I’m prepared to raise the bar. See you tomorrow Chicago!”

Punk then added, “Live TV is the best, let’s all swear!”

CM Punk hasn’t been a featured star on WWE since tearing his triceps during the Royal Rumble match, which now the heel Drew McIntyre takes great credit for. When Punk confirmed his injury the following night on Raw, McIntyre came out to confront, demean and beat down Punk. McIntyre has made it a calling card of his to relentlessly take digs at Punk and ruining his opportunity to main event a WrestleMania.

Punk was last seen as a guest commentator during the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff in Las Vegas and had several thoughts regarding the ongoings at the T-Mobile Arena.  Punk made clear that Cody Rhodes should’ve punched The Rock in the mouth after he slapped him and even mocked The Rock while he was still on stage about 50 yards away.

One would imagine Punk’s return will likely involve McIntyre tonight and Punk has previously said that he plans to be at WrestleMania 40 even if he’s not invited.

The Man Calls Her Shot: Becky Lynch Wants Opening Match Of WrestleMania 40 Night 1

0

WrestleMania 40 is coming up in less than two weeks, and fans are excited. As the roster, and a ton of fans, prepare to make their way to Philadelphia, the card is coming together.

Becky Lynch won the 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber match, and she didn’t waste any time calling her shot for WrestleMania. The Man will battle Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at the showcase of the immortals.

WWE’s WrestleMania card is always stacked carefully, and many things are taken into consideration. Lynch has now called her shot, because she wants to go first during night one of the WrestleMania event.

Becky Lynch Calls Her WrestleMania 40 Shot

Lynch vs Ripley will be one of many marquee WrestleMania matches this year. However, the main event of both nights will likely go to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ Mania angle.

During an interview with ClutchPoints, Becky Lynch made it clear that she is not worried about the Mania main event this year. In fact, she would love to open the showcase of the immortals this year.

Nah, man, I’m not worried about card order. I would love to open the show. I would love that. I’ve never opened WrestleMania before.

And to open this one, as big as it is in Philadelphia, I’m just putting that out there. It would be pretty cool because if it’s not the main event, I always want to be the opening spot — it’s always a great place on the card because people are so excited.

Women Represented at WrestleMania 40

Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch will be the big women’s match on the RAW brand. On the other side, Bayley will take on IYO Sky for the WWE Women’s Title. Bayley won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match to get her spot.

As of this writing, the Kabuki Warriors have not been announced for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match. Asuka just returned to action after an injury scare, so that is a good sign it is still possible for that to happen.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of the road to WrestleMania 40. You can check out the updated card (so far) below.

WrestleMania 40 Card:

  • The Bloodline (The Rock and Roman Reigns) vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a tag team match
  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
  • Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley in a singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship

  • Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
  • Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens in a United Stated Title Match

4/6 AEW Collision To Air At Later Time To Avoid WrestleMania 40 Showdown

0

The April 6, edition of AEW Collision will air at a later time than usual to avoid being decimated by the viewing might of WrestleMania 40.

TNT’s programming schedule reveals that the show will air at 11:30pm EST, much later than the usual 8pm EST slot. This will likely prevent it from going head-to-head with WrestleMania 40: Saturday, which is set to start at 7pm EST.

Not only that, but the April 6, edition of Collision will be taped in advance. The show will be taped following the April 3, edition of AEW Dynamite. Both shows will take place at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Currently, no matches have been announced for the April 6, edition of AEW Collision.

A Change from the Norm

This strategy marks a change for AEW Collision. In the past, the show has aired head-to-head with WWE Premium Live Events, including this year’s Royal Rumble that featured AEW alum Cody Rhodes & Jade Cargill. AEW Collision also went head-to-head with  WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 last month.

AEW Collision

Collision was launched in 2023 and marked CM Punk’s return to AEW programming following his first suspension. Punk was immediately presented as the focal point of the show and was said to have a say in picking talent for the show. After Punk’s firing from AEW in September 2023, this soft brand split was relaxed.

WWE WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 will be the promotion’s fifth-annual WrestleMania to take place across two nights. Currently, ten matches have been announced for the show. The event will mark the in-ring return of The Rock, who hasn’t wrestled for WWE since 2016.

Raising The Bar: CM Punk Is Prepared To Outdo Rhea Ripley’s Stinkface During 3/25 WWE RAW

0

WWE fans saw CM Punk go out of action with an injury after the Royal Rumble, but he intends on being at WrestleMania 40, whether he’s invited or not. He plans on raising the bar during WWE RAW this week.

CM Punk will be on hand for the March 25 episode of WWE RAW in Chicago. He wants to leave a mark, and he wants to told Rhea Ripley’s recent stinkface activities.

CM Punk Makes Bold Claim

Rhea Ripley’s stinkface antics have gone viral at this point. Shayna Baszler also drew attention to the spot by practically begging for The Nightmare to execute Rikishi’s signature move on her.

CM Punk is out of action with a triceps injury, but he’s been paying attention. The Second City Savior posted on his Instagram story to make it clear that he’s seen what Ripley has been doing at WWE live event, and he intends on outdoing her.

Punk also included a photo of himself face-to-face with Cody Rhodes. The story also had a soundtrack of “Like A Parasite” by The Queers.

I see what Rhea Ripley has been doing on house shows and I’m prepared to raise the bar. See you tomorrow Chicago!

On another note, CM Punk said that he’s also ready to step in the ring with Rhea Ripley. WWE has a ban on intergender matches in place, but that contest would bring a lot of eyes to it.

CM Punk’s WrestleMania 40 Story

WWE RAW will be in Chicago this week, and CM Punk won’t miss it. It is unclear what he will do at this point, because he is not involved in any WrestleMania match at this time. He may reply to Drew McIntyre’s barrage of attacks that he’s been shoveling Punk’s direction since his injury hiatus started.

CM Punk’s WrestleMania Plans

Punk said that he will be at WrestleMania 40, whether he’s invited or not. He has not been announced for any match or segment during the two-night extravaganza at this time. He will make an appearance during WWE World, Fanatics’ first-ever WWE event.

CM Punk also showed off some gear on Instagram recently that he may use to surprise fans at WrestleMania. You may find that post below.

Swerve Strickland Thinks Drew McIntyre Would Be A ‘Major Fit’ For AEW

0

Swerve Strickland sees unlimited value in Drew McIntyre and would like to see the Scotsman make his way to AEW.

Speaking on “Bootleg Kev” Strickland was asked by one of the hosts if he had to chose a WWE talent to jump ship to AEW, who would he pick. Swerve laid out a big case as to why Drew McIntyre would equal major value for All Elite Wrestling.

“Man, I would love to see a Drew McIntyre over here, you know? Contract status, I don’t know. I can’t speak on it, but I’ve heard it’s not fully [finalized].

“I think Drew McIntyre could work anywhere in the world like he’s proven that before like that’s why WWE wanted him back so badly … the transformation he made he can just work anywhere and do anything with anybody. I think he’d be a major fit in AEW.”

Regarding his own WWE tenure, Swerve made clear that it wasn’t that he was not properly utilized, but just not used to his fullest potential. He said that it could have taken a year to several for that to possibly happening, noting that it took The Usos and Roman Reigns to finally get where they are today.

What Is The Contract Status Of Drew McIntyre?

As of now, Drew McIntyre is not under a new deal with WWE despite the fact that he’s going to be in one of the main event matches at WrestleMania 40 against Seth Rollins. Drew did say that he’s just having fun right now, but a new contract is very important to him. He also added that you’ll see him continue to wrestle for a very long time, whether that be as Drew McIntyre or Drew Galloway, noting “that would get everyone’s attention.”

Please credit “Bootleg Kev” and h/t to SEScoops for the transcription.

WWE Raw Preview (3/25): CM Punk Returns, Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed, Andrade vs. Ivar

0

As the Road to WrestleMania inches closer to the finish line, WWE makes a stop at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Here are the 5 matches (and 1 segment) announced for Raw, followed by our detailed preview of each one:

  • CM Punk Returns
  • Andrade vs. Ivar
  • Ricochet vs. JD McDonagh
  • Ivy Nile vs. Candice LeRae
  • Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed
  • Jey Uso vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Here’s what you need to know heading into this week’s WWE Raw:

CM Punk Returns

CM Punk returns to WWE programming in his hometown of Chicago.

While he may not be able to compete at WrestleMania 40, CM Punk will make a special appearance on the penultimate WWE Raw on the Road To WrestleMania. Tonight will mark Punk’s first appearance on the red brand since he revealed that he sustained a torn triceps during the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Tonight will also serve as Punk’s official return to the city of Chicago, which, aside from being his hometown, holds an added significance given that his surprise return to WWE emanated from this very same venue.

What will “The Voice of the Voiceless” have to say?

Andrade vs. Ivar

At the 2024 Royal Rumble, Andre made his official return to WWE. As he continues to reacclimate himself with the WWE Raw roster, Andrade has been approached by Dominik Mysterio with the idea of potentially joining The Judgment Day stable.

Earning an entryway into this stable is no easy task, though. As such, Andrade will attempt to gain favor with the Judgment Day as he takes on Ivar on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Ricochet vs. JD McDonagh

On last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Ricochet earned a hard-fought victory against The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Mysterio’s Judgment Day stablemate JD McDonagh attempted to blindside Ricochet with an attack from behind. Unfortunately for McDonagh, Ricochet’s flexes kicked in relatively quickly, allowing him to duck under McDonagh, and eventually, escape him altogether. Now, the two will meet one-on-one inside the ring.

Ivy Nile vs. Candice LeRae

After Candice LeRae launched several unkind remarks toward Maxxine Dupri, Indi Hartwell implored her tag team partner to issue an apology to Dupri. While it seemed like LeRae was headed down the course of making amends, she, instead, double-downed on her previous statements, telling Dupri she was “rotten” at wrestling.

Infuriated by LeRae’s comments, Ivy Nile seized the opportunity to stand up for Dupri, and challenged her to pick on her instead. As such, LeRae and Nile will now settle their differences in the ring.

Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed

Sami Zayn has earned the right to challenge Gunther for Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40. Before he steps onto WWE’s grandest stage, though, he must overcome a giant obstacle, literally.

Two weeks after eliminating “Big” Bronson Reed in a grueling gauntlet match, Sami Zayn is slated to face him again on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Will Zayn’s wave of momentum continues its course, or will Bronson Reed come crashing through with a thunderous Tsunami?

Jey Uso vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

In less than two weeks, Jey Uso will face off with his own brother, Jimmy Uso, on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” Tonight, though, he is tasked with taking on the unpredictable Shinsuke Nakamura in what will be their first singles match since January 2021.

Cameron Grimes Questions Drake About Beef With Future & Kendrick Lamar

0

Cameron Grimes is a fan of rap music, and he had a burning question for Drake. With the recent beef between Future and Kendrick Lamar heating up, there are a lot of questions to be asked.

During a recent concert, Grimes had a chance to shout some questions in Drake’s direction. Sadly, the atmosphere of the live concert did not allow for Drizzy to hear what he was being asked.

Grimes Wants Answers

Drake just ran two shows in Sunrise, Florida on March 23 and 24. Cameron Grimes was likely’s at one of those shows, and he had a question for Drizzy.

As soon as the former Degrassi star got on stage, the former NXT North American Champion launched into journalism mode as he shouted at the stage.

“Drake, I just want to know what the beef is between you and Future and Kendrick. Drake, let me know what’s going on between you guys, okay?”

Drake did not hear Cameron Grimes’ questions, so there was no immediate answer. Perhaps fans will hear the whole story eventually, but Grimes did his best to get to the bottom of things.

Drake, Future, and Kendrick Lamar Backstory

Many fans believe that Future criticized Drake on a new song. Future and Metro Boomin released their joint album “We Don’t Trust You,” which included the controversial track. There’s speculation among fans about a brewing feud between Future, Kendrick and Drake. Kendrick gave Drake and J. Cole a piece of his mind on “Like That.”

In the new drop, Future raps in the intro to the title track, “Fake written all over you/Hate written all over you,”

Kendrick rapped in a feature, “Your best work is a light pack / N***a, Prince outlived Mike Jack / N***a, bum, ‘fore all your dogs get buried / That’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary.” He also spit: “Yeah get up with me, f*ck sneak dissing / ‘First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches. Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me.”

Future’s aggressive context did not come out of nowhere. Drake mentioned an issue with Future involving a woman on For All The Dogs. There have been a few sneak disses in this ongoing beef.
