Former World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin recently made some interesting comments about his future when he claimed that he is fit enough to have one more match.
These comments from the Texas Rattle Snake made some fans wonder if they were an indication of Austin being brought back for a match soon, presumably at the upcoming Saudi Arabian PPV. However, latest reports suggest that this is not the case.
According to reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is nothing to the rumors of Stone Cold returning to ring for the upcoming Saudi Arabian PPV.
The former Champion is currently not booked for the event called Crown Jewel taking place on October 31 later this month and this situation is not expected to change.
Though this doesn’t necessarily mean that Stone Cold Steve Austin won’t be returning to the ring at all and he can very well be brought back for a future Saudi show or an event like WrestleMania.
It’s worth mentioning here that Austin is not the only star who is being subjected to such rumors and after announcing his retirement from podcast, Edge has also become a point of discussion.
He recently signed a new deal with WWE and new reports suggest that there have been internal talks of the former World Champion possibly wrestling again. You can check out a detailed report on the matter here.
