Moxley & Kingston Met Face To Face

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley met face to face tonight on Dynamite. Moxley will defend his AEW Championship against Eddie Kingston in an I Quit match at Full Gear.

Kingston told Schiavone to get out of the ring and told Moxley that he is going to destroy at Full Gear. Eddie got ridiculously close to Moxley’s face said that he is going to take the title because it means everything to him.

Moxley stated that the longer he has been in this business he has learned that loyalty is a bitch. Jon told Eddie that he never expected to get betrayed by him and said he was happy for Kington’s mother. Jon claimed that he promised Kingston’s mother that he would look after him but he is going to break that promise.

Jon said that the loudest person in the room is usually the weakest and that Kingston is going to lose the best wrestler on the planet at Full Gear. Moxley added that after 18-years Kingston is going to learn that he didn’t deserve it and he made a promise to a mother that he cannot keep. Kingston told Moxley that he is going to have to kill him at Full Gear. Kingston made his way backstage as Moxley said that Eddie will find out he is not the man he thinks he is and will quit at Full Gear.

Cody Vowed To Retain At Full Gear

TNT Championship

Dark Order (John Silver, 10, Colt Cabana) faced Cody, Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn in the main event. Darby Allin was shown in the crowd before the match. Cody will defend his TNT Championship against Darby Allin this Saturday night in Full Gear.

Match Recap: Cody and Gunn Club controlled the action early and isolated Silver in the middle of the ring. Austin hit Silver with a Dropkick for a near fall and tagged in Billy. John retreated to the corner and Colt Cabana rubbed Silver’s head. Colt then tagged in and elbowed Billy in the face.

Billy connected with a slam for a two count. Austin and 10 tagged in and Gunn connected with a Back Body Drop. Silver hit Austin with a cheap shot as Colt Cabana distracted referee Aubrey Edwards as Dynamite went to a break.

When Dynamite returned, Billy knocked Colt off the apron and slammed John Silver to the canvas. Billy hit 10 with a Splash in the corner and then Clotheslined Cabana out of the ring. Billy hit the Fameasser on 10 but Silver broke up the cover. Cody hit Silver with a Powerslam and then delivered a Splash to Cabana outside the ring.

Back in the ring, 10 hit Billy with a Cutter for a two count. Silver went for a Suicide Dive but Cody caught him and sent him into the crowd. Austin planted Colt with the Cross Rhodes and then hit 10 with the Quick Draw for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Dark Order surrounded the ring and John Silver grabbed a chair. Orange Cassidy rushed the ring and hit Siliver with the Orange Punch. Cody grabbed a microphone and said that Darby Allin is telling everyone that TNT doesn’t want Allin to be the face of the network. Cody said that is false and that he was the one that recruited Darby to AEW. Cody told Darby to take one last look at the TNT Championship and at the superstar that left the empire and actually won. Cody added that Darby will not capture the ace belt because he is not the ace.

Opinion: This was a great moment for Austin and it is ridiculous how Billy looks the same as he did 15 years ago. Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley stole the show with their promo and it should be an absolute war this Saturday night. AEW needs to fix their audio in backstage segments because sometimes it was difficult to hear what was going on due to an echo. Overall, Dynamite was a decent show this week and there are several matches I am looking forward to at Full Gear.
