The Undertaker returned to WWE television on Monday’s RAW 25th Anniversary special, his first appearance since WrestleMania 33 last April. Undertaker appeared at the Manhattan Center 25 years after main eventing the first-ever episode of Monday Night RAW back in 1993.
Speculation was rampant about the nature of The Undertaker’s appearance. Would he appear as the Dead Man, the American Badass or out of character entirely? Was he there to formally announce his retirement, or begin a WrestleMania feud with John Cena?
In the end, the appearance was largely uneventful. Undertaker made no reference to his in-ring future, so the question of whether or not he’s wrestled his last WrestleMania match remains unanswered for now.
