KUSHIDA made his WWE debut for NXT at Wednesday night’s NXT television tapings from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
The former New Japan Pro Wrestling star wrestled Kassius Ohno in his first match under the NXT banner. The match is expected to air on the May 1st or 8th episode of NXT on the WWE Network.
WWE announced the signing of KUSHIDA during WrestleMania weekend. He was shown ringside for Friday’s NXT Takeover: New York event and was photographed alongside Triple H and NXT General Manager William Regal.
KUSHIDA (35) is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and will be a great addition to NXT’s ever-growing roster.
