WWE NXT Star Karen Q has suffered an injury that will keep her on the sidelines for the near future.
She confirmed on her official Twitter account that she suffered a broken leg while working a live event on Saturday night in Atlanta, GA at the Center Stage Theatre.
This was part of the current NXT road trip. At this show, she teamed up with Bianca Belair to lose to Rhea Ripley and Reina Gonzalez in a tag team match. Karen wrote the following statement:
Karen did a northern lights suplex in the match, which is where the injury likely happened, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. He saw a video of the spot where she couldn’t get up after the move.
She had to be helped to the back. He didn’t elaborate any further.
