Bray Wyatt Seemingly Won’t Portray The Fiend In Title Match At WWE TLC

Bray Wyatt has an opponent

For the first time since making his return to WWE television earlier this year, it looks like Bray Wyatt will not portray his alter ego, The Fiend, when he wrestles in his next match.

WWE confirmed on Friday that Daniel Bryan wouldn’t be getting a rematch against Wyatt for the WWE Title at the TLC show. Instead, WWE is going in a different direction as they’ve gone back to original plans with The Miz being the next in line to try to dethrone Wyatt as the WWE Champion.

As seen in the graphic below, Wyatt will be portraying his normal character that is usually shown in the Firefly Funhouse segments. On SmackDown, Wyatt attacked Miz in a backstage segment and wasn’t dressed up as The Fiend.

Historically, when WWE advertises Wyatt for a match, a photo of him dressed as The Fiend is shown.

WWE presents the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Here is the updated card:

  • Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin – TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs) Match
  • WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E) vs. The Revival
  • WWE Champion Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz

What are your thoughts on this match being added to the card? Sound off in the comment section.
