TNA star Kurt Angle has apologized for threatening WWE Champion CM Punk after Punk called TNA an “indy” promotion during a weekend interview. Angle tweeted on Tuesday night:

In response to Punk calling TNA an indy promotion, Angle originally said, Punk wants to say TNA is an indy league? I was on top in WWE when you were trying to get a job anywhere. It was my choice to go to TNA. If I ever see you, Punk, hide, bitch.”
