Anthony Bowens and Max Caster are a week away from free agency, and nothing is happening.
The contracts of the former Acclaimed members expire at the start of October. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select followed up on their status and was told there have been no negotiations on new deals.
There has also been no word either way on whether AEW intends to make offers. Both situations are quiet.
The two reunited last year after splitting, but the run did not last. They have gone in different directions since.
Caster has not been on AEW television recently. He has worked select independent dates this year.
Bowens has been used far more often and is part of the Opps. He wrestled at All In, though that remains his only match since late July.
Together they held the AEW World Tag Team Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship, the latter alongside Billy Gunn. The Acclaimed were one of the company’s most over acts at their peak.
