Cappuccino Jones is out of WWE ID. The inaugural men’s ID Champion confirmed Tuesday that his two-year run in the program is over, saying he chose to part ways and is “ready for my next cup.”
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson first reported the departure, along with the exit of Santi Rivera. Jones thanked WWE for the knowledge, experience and wisdom he gained and said he will carry it through the rest of his career. He framed the split as his own decision, and WWE has not publicly commented on the circumstances.
Jones, 24, was part of the first wave of prospects WWE announced after launching ID in 2024. He beat Jack Cartwheel in the tournament final on August 1, 2025 to become the first men’s ID Champion, then held the title for 234 days before losing it to Starboy Charlie in March. He currently holds the Reality of Wrestling Texas Championship.
The exit is part of a clear pattern. Jones and Rivera are the latest in a run of departures that also includes Laynie Luck, whose deal was not renewed, Marcus Mathers and Sam Holloway. Over the same stretch, WWE has added Richard Adonis, Monica Monroe, Josiah Jean and Conan Lycan, with Monroe dethroning Luck for the women’s title.
The turnover is hitting the program’s earliest signees hard. A September 9 Evolve episode put Jones, Mathers and Holloway on one team against a side that included Rivera, and all four have now left WWE ID.
Jones has not announced what comes next.
