Danhausen decided to remove his face paint for his dear friend CM Punk on social media.
Mr. Very Nice Very Evil took to his Instagram stories to post a photo for CM Punk’s birthday. However, the interesting part was that Danhausen didn’t have face paint in the photo he took with The Best in the World. It is a rare sight, as Danhausen is usually seen with his signature face paint on. He wrote:
Happy birthday @cmpunk. Eat desserts but don’t tell anyone.
CM Punk and Danhausen became companions during their time in AEW. Even after Punk returned to WWE in 2023, the two were frequently seen in friendly banter on social media. The two finally reunited in the same company when Danhausen joined WWE in 2026, debuting at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
Furthermore, Punk and Danhausen were recently seen competing in a tag team match at a WWE live event. For that match, the Second City Saint donned Danhausen’s face paint in a captivating sight to witness. With the two stars having interesting chemistry, it would be an enthralling sight to see them in an angle or match on live television.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see if WWE makes that happen soon.
