Alexa Bliss came back to WWE with one condition she wasn’t willing to budge on.
Speaking with Brandi Rhodes on Shot of Brandi, Bliss said she made sure her daughter, Hendrix, could join her on the road.
It’s definitely really hard, but I’m in so much of the phase of, ‘I don’t want to miss anything she does.’
So that was one of the biggest things about coming back. I worked it into my contract that she travels with me. I was like, ‘I need to be able to bring my daughter along. That’s non-negotiable,’ because at the time, she was barely a year old, and I was like, ‘I’m not leaving her on the road multiple days a week.’
Bliss signed a multi-year deal hours before her surprise return at the 2025 Royal Rumble. She had been off WWE television since early 2023 and gave birth to Hendrix that November.
Her husband, singer Ryan Cabrera, spends his weekends on the road as well.
She has two touring parents because Ryan tours every weekend. He has for the past 10 years. He’s still on tour every weekend.
And so I said, ‘She needs to go with one of us, and it’s going to be me.’ That was just something that involved a lot of growing pains because now, instead of traveling with two cute little bags, you’re traveling with 10 because you have, at first, a Pack ‘n Play, a travel Pack ‘n Play, a stroller, and a car seat.
Bliss said Hendrix has adjusted to arena life, often napping “at the arena during rehearsals, during pyro tests.” She’s even picking up the basics of the business.
She just learned one, two, three, ding, ding, ding. That’s her new favorite thing.
When Rhodes brought up mom guilt, Bliss had a simple answer.
I don’t ever wanna feel mom guilt, so I just bring her with me.
Now I’m very grateful for the opportunity to bring her on the road because I get to be there for everything.
