DDP Reveals What He Told Triple H During Recent Meeting

DDP has revealed a recent conversation with Triple H.

The WCW legend recently spoke to Cultaholic for a new interview. During the talk, Page revealed details of his recent meeting with The Game when he visited Stamford, Connecticut, to film an episode of Cody Rhodes’ podcast.

Diamond Dallas Page first mentioned that he is good friends with the current head of WWE creative, real name Paul Levesque, but they do not speak often on account of Triple H’s busy schedule. He did take time to speak with the King of Kings during his visit, however, telling the former WWE Champion that he would like to be more involved with the company:

When I came up there, I let Paul know, Triple H know, that I would love to stop in and say hello. He’s like, ‘Absolutely,’ and he took the time for me. I told him, I said, ‘Just so you know, I’m up here doing this, and I did some interviews and stuff. I don’t want a job, I do very well. I don’t need anything, and I don’t want to take anything away from anybody, but I do want to be a part — occasionally — of the show.’

One idea that DDP pitched to be involved a little bit more than just occasionally coming to the show was being featured on WWE Rivals. There, he could talk about things like his feud of the year with Randy Savage in 1997 or his famous match with Goldberg.

The former WCW Champion also addressed the recent reports claiming that WWE was considering him for a one-off TV appearance in near future. Page noted that he has not been approached with any such offer and joked that he hopes the planned appearance is not in summer because he’s completely booked during that time.
