Enzo Amore Blasts Maven Over Interview Timing After PAC Tribute

Enzo Amore is accusing Maven Huffman of sitting on a year-old interview and releasing it days after AEW’s tribute show for the late Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as PAC. Amore says the timing proves the former WWE Hardcore Champion is “clearly not” still grieving.

Maven posted the sit-down on his YouTube channel Sunday night, and one line from it spread fast: Amore saying “F*** AEW” over the promotion’s backstage fights and its habit of “letting it leak.” The next day, Amore went to X to point out that the conversation was well over a year old.

I talked to Maven in March of 2025. He waited to come off the heels of a beautiful tribute show for PAC to post the interview. I thought the tribute show was absolute class. Everyone who paid tribute, thank you for honoring Ben. I’m still grieving, Maven is clearly not.

Maven’s explanation for the delay

Maven addressed the gap in a note pinned beneath the video, though his date doesn’t match Amore’s. “We filmed this video with Enzo back in May 2025,” he wrote, adding that the original plan was for Amore to react to Simon Gotch’s infamous interview burying him.

According to Maven, “Enzo texted me and asked us to cut that part” after filming wrapped, and without that segment the channel shelved the footage. He said viewers started asking for whatever was left after he told the story in another video, and with the previous Friday’s upload running short, they released it.

The note went up with the video, before Amore’s post, so it doesn’t speak to the tribute timing at all. Maven has not publicly responded to Amore’s accusation as of this writing.

The interview also features Heath Slater, who brought up Amore’s reported bus scuffle with Curtis Axel. That exchange led to the AEW comments that made headlines earlier Monday, with Amore insisting, “What happens in the WWE locker room as far as fist fights never left.”

Enzo Amore Reacts to His Most Controversial Moments

Why the timing stings

Satterley died on September 27 at 40, one day after challenging Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at All Out. AEW turned the September 30 episode of Dynamite into a tribute show, which included a statement from PAC’s family thanking the company and fans.

Amore’s history with Satterley runs back to WWE, where he beat him, then working as Neville, for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at No Mercy in September 2017. Last week, Amore urged fans to stop speculating about Satterley’s death. His issue now isn’t what he said to Maven. It’s when Maven chose to air it.
