Eva Marie Admits She Is Not Deserving Of A WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Eva Marie said that she did not do enough work to be considered for a WWE Hall of Fame induction, but did make an impact in her own right.

Eva Marie was strong enough to say she doesn’t deserve a Hall of Fame induction.

The former WWE star was asked about a potential WWE Hall of Fame induction in a recent interview with TMZ. Eva Marie admitted she couldn’t take it as far as she wanted and hadn’t done enough to be considered for induction.

I mean, I definitely couldn’t take myself that far, like I have so much respect for the business and I don’t feel like I’ve done enough body of work to consider myself a Hall of Famer.

Despite that, Eva felt she made an impact during her time as a WWE superstar. She cited the Total Divas reality show as an example, which, according to her, helped bring a new demographic to WWE, including her own friend, who now watches RAW and SmackDown.

Do I think I made an impact? Sure, especially because … nothing like Total Divas was able, I feel like it merged a different demographic. There have been so many people that I had, had met in person that were like oh my god, I love Total Divas because now my girlfriend watches Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown and it really showcased what a WWE Diva is.

Eva Marie joined WWE in 2013 as part of the Total Divas cast. She was heavily criticized for her poor in-ring skills but had stints in both NXT and the WWE main roster. However, Marie and WWE parted ways in 2017.

She returned in June 2021 for a second stint, aligning with Piper Niven. Marie had a promising start, but she again failed to make an impact and was let go in only seven months. Since then, the former All Red Everything has been working on various ventures. In the same interview, she was also asked for her take on joining AEW, and Marie said it would take a lot for that to happen.

As Eva Marie navigates life outside wrestling, we will have to wait and see whether she returns to the ring in the future.
