SummerSlam 2026 puts multiple championships on the line across its two nights in Minneapolis. Here is who holds every major WWE title heading into the show.
Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk
CM Punk has held the Undisputed WWE Championship since July 6, defeating Sami Zayn. He makes his first defense against Cody Rhodes on Night 1.
World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has held the World Heavyweight Championship since defeating CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 on April 19. He defends against Seth Rollins on Night 2.
WWE Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan has held the Women’s World Championship since April 18. She puts the title on the line against IYO SKY on Night 1.
WWE Women’s United States Championship: Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton has held the Women’s United States Championship since April 24.
WWE United States Championship: Trick Williams
Trick Williams currently holds the United States Championship. He has been dealing with a program against Baron Corbin heading into SummerSlam weekend, while Carmelo Hayes, who held the title for 98 days earlier this year, remains without a rematch.
WWE Tag Team Championship: Damian Priest and R-Truth
Damian Priest and R-Truth have held the WWE Tag Team Championship since March 20. They retained the titles in a disqualification finish against The War Raiders on the go-home episode of SmackDown, July 31.
Additional title matches, including Penta defending the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable and the five-way Interim WWE Women’s Championship ladder match, round out the SummerSlam 2026 card.
