Jey Uso spent the summer saying his critics never say it to his face. South America said it to his face.
WWE’s Raw brand tour opened in Quito on September 9, the company’s first show in Ecuador in a decade. Fans at the Coliseo General Rumiñahui spent the six-man main event chanting “no sabes luchar” at Jey, which translates as “you can’t wrestle.” The Bloodline lost to Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa.
It followed him. The chants started up again in Bogota the next night, where Rollins, Knight and Sikoa hijacked Jey’s entrance music and danced to it until the Bloodline walked out of the building. The three attacked them on the ramp, dragged them back and beat them again. In Buenos Aires the chants turned cruder still.

On September 3, Jey went after his online critics and argued that the abuse evaporates whenever he actually meets people in person. Six days later an arena in Quito gave him the full version to his face, and two more followed it.
The chant itself is not new. It has been an online staple for a while, and CM Punk pushed back on it in January, pointing out that he competes with Jey and John Cena for t-shirt sales on any given night.
Quito did not turn on him entirely either. Footage from the same building has the crowd doing the Yeet with him later in the match.
The tour closes in Santiago on Saturday.
