Former ROH World and Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness will face current ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty in a 30-minute Iron Man Match at Final Battle on December 5.
The non-title bout serves as the rubber match between the two competitors, with each man holding one victory over the other. The Iron Man format will determine who scores the most falls within the 30-minute time limit, settling their rivalry definitively.
McGuinness, who held the ROH Pure Championship during his storied career with the promotion, issued the challenge during Friday's episode of ROH programming.

Moriarty, who captured the Pure Championship at Death Before Dishonor 2024 by defeating Wheeler Yuta, accepted the challenge from the decorated veteran.
The Iron Man stipulation adds significant stakes to the encounter, as both men will need to balance aggression with endurance over the half-hour time frame. The format has historically produced some of Ring of Honor's most memorable matches and will test both competitors' technical prowess and conditioning.
Final Battle takes place Friday, December 5 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, streaming live on HonorClub at 8 p.m. ET.
