AEW will present its eighth annual All Out pay-per-view in 24 hours, live from the NOW Arena near Chicago, IL. It’s believed that at least one new All Elite talent will debut at the big event, which will air up against WWE Worlds Collide.
Persephone announced on this week’s Collision go-home special that she will be defending the AEW TBS Championship in an Open Challenge at All Out. The 25-year-old declared that anyone is welcome to answer the challenge, as long as it’s not Thunder Rosa, Maya World, or Hyan. This led to more rumors and speculation on names like Kairi Sane or Mara Sade answering the call.
The Black Widow is now expected to lock up with Dani Luna for the first time ever at AEW All Out. A new report from Self Made notes that Persephone vs. Luna is the plan for All Out on Saturday, with Luna challenging for the TBS Championship in her official AEW debut.
Luna has been rumored for a run with AEW since TNA granted her release request earlier this year, and she was heavily discussed for Persephone’s mystery opponent following Wednesday’s Collision announcement. The 27-year-old arrived in WWE’s NXT UK brand in July 2019, around three years after debuting on the British indie scene.
The Inevitable inked her WWE contract in early 2020, but was released on August 18, 2022, along with Subculture stablemates Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster, among others. The trio debuted for TNA in May 2023, and Luna went on to hold the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice with Jody Threat.
Persephone dethroned Maya World of the TBS Championship at AEW All In on August 30. Since then, she has retained over Vertvixen and Hyan. The Texas native is also 203 days into her first reign as CMLL World Women’s Champion, which began when she defeated Mercedes Moné in March.
All Out 2026 will begin on Saturday with the Tailgate Brawl pre-show at 7pm ET on TNT and Max. The one-hour special will feature two matches: Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata, and eight-man tag team action with The Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia joining Clark Connors and David Finlay of The Dogs to face Jay White, Ace Austin, Colten Gunn, and Austin Gunn of The Bang Bang Gang.
