Jody Threat is no longer with TNA Wrestling. The Knockout wrapped up her run with the company at last week’s Philadelphia tapings, according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.
Threat requested her release from her contract, and TNA granted the request. The departure was described as amicable, and neither side has publicly commented further on the decision.
Her final match for the company came on last Thursday’s iMPACT tapings, where she fell to Jada Stone in the quarterfinals of the inaugural Knockouts Television Championship tournament.
The 38-year-old Canadian joined TNA in 2023 and built the bulk of her run alongside Dani Luna as one-half of Spitfire. The duo captured the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice, first in March 2024 and again that September.
Threat had signed a new deal with TNA in January, just months before her exit. Her departure adds to a wave of Knockouts moves out of the promotion this year, following Luna’s own release earlier in 2026.
Outside of TNA, Threat has stayed busy on the independent scene, most recently beating Mercedes Moné for the WPW Women’s Championship in March.
