Tom Brady and Logan Paul may finally have the perfect venue to settle their feud: a WWE ring.
TMZ Sports reports there are ongoing conversations between the seven-time Super Bowl champion and WWE, potentially setting up a showdown between the NFL legend and his social media rival. What Brady would actually be willing to do inside the ropes remains unclear, and it’s uncertain what the talks will produce.
The bad blood is very real. It kicked off with Brady’s appearance on Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast earlier this year, simmered, then boiled over this past weekend in New York. Brady slapped Paul on stage at Fanatics Fest, then flipped him off during Sunday’s World Cup final. He also turned up alongside one of Paul’s biggest WWE rivals, Cody Rhodes.
As far-fetched as a Brady wrestling angle sounds, the business ties make it less of a stretch than it looks. Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and so is Ari Emanuel, the CEO and chairman of TKO, the company that owns WWE. In other words, Brady and WWE’s leadership are already business partners with an established relationship.
Whether any of it leads to Brady stepping between the ropes is another matter entirely. For now, it’s just talks, but the pieces are lining up in a way that makes a Brady-Paul collision feel less like a fantasy than it did a week ago.
