Warning to Tom Brady
Alexa Bliss has a warning for Tom Brady, and it comes with a punchline.
Speaking to TMZ Sports at LAX, the WWE Superstar was asked about the prospect of the seven-time Super Bowl champion stepping into a WWE ring opposite Logan Paul. Bliss did not dismiss the idea. She just made it clear that Brady’s athletic résumé counts for less than he might think.
A lot of people that come from other backgrounds have amazing athletic ability, but nothing prepares your body for what goes on in WWE, especially my first day,” Bliss said. “My first day, I was not prepared. It’s a rude awakening.
Then came the line that will follow Brady around if the match ever materializes.
You could end up like this,” Bliss said. “Tom will have matching braces.
Bliss framed crossover stars as a net positive for the business, arguing that outsiders leave with a new appreciation for the work.
It’s always fun when someone comes into our world because then they learn how difficult it actually is and how intense it actually is,” she said.
She also pointed newcomers toward the locker room itself, noting that WWE has no shortage of veterans willing to get a first-timer ready.
There’s a bunch of people that are really awesome at that, especially in our world, cause everyone’s pretty welcoming and everyone wants to stay safe,” Bliss said.
Bliss Calls Out The Logan Paul Contradiction
The sharpest moment came when Bliss was asked whether Brady belongs in a WWE ring at all. Rather than answer directly, she redirected the question to Paul and pointed out the obvious contradiction in his on-screen position.
You have to ask Logan Paul that question, cause he did that whole segment where he was like, ‘We don’t want outsiders coming in,’ and he’s an outsider,” Bliss said. “Iconic.
Paul has leaned into anti-outsider rhetoric on WWE television despite arriving as one of the highest-profile celebrity crossovers in company history. Bliss let the irony speak for itself.
She was more generous about the broader trend, citing Bad Bunny and Paul himself as proof that celebrity signings can win over a skeptical audience when they put in the work.
People like Bad Bunny came in and was so respectful, took it seriously, trained hard,” Bliss said. “Logan’s come in, he’s trained hard. There’s so many people that come in and embrace it, and whenever anyone fully embraces it, it’s always fun.
As for whether she wants to see Brady actually do it, Bliss was all in.
I think it’d be awesome,” she said. “I’m always excited with anybody that comes into our world, because you learn a lot of respect for it and you learn how difficult it is.
