The mystery partner has been revealed.
Shinsuke Nakamura had been teasing the arrival of a new mystery partner with vignettes over the past few weeks, amid reports of the company looking to refresh its tag division.
This new addition to the SmackDown roster was finally revealed in the latest episode of the Blue Branded show from Toronto, Canada. The person introduced himself as Kyoki in the latest video package, declaring that he has arrived in WWE after competing around the world:
I am Kyoki. After spending years competing around the world, finally, I’ve arrived to WWE. Champions, legends, monsters, I don’t care. The stronger they are, the more fun I have.

Kyoki is better known to wrestling fans as NJPW star Hiromu Takahashi. The 36-year-old ended his 16-year tenure with the Japanese promotion this February to join WWE.
Takahashi held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship 5 times during his stint with NJPW, among other titles. He has also wrestled for promotions such as CMLL, ROH, AEW and others before making his WWE debut tonight.
