Sol Ruca is dreaming up her ideal WrestleMania moment, and it involves keeping the entrance in the family.
Ruca is the daughter of musician Paul A Hampton, a founding member of the band The Skeletones, who’s been with the group since the 1980s and briefly played with Fishbone as well.
Appearing on the “HUGE POP!” podcast with Donnie DaSilva and Jimmy Korderas, Ruca said her goal is to have her dad and The Skeletones perform her entrance music at a future WrestleMania.
She called the idea something she’d love to see happen and added that she’s already spoken it into existence by sharing the pitch with someone inside WWE.
That’s my goal. I would love for my dad and for The Skeletones to play my WrestleMania entrance one day. That would be sick.”
“Definitely. Speaking it out into existence for sure,
Ruca made her main roster call-up earlier this year and quickly won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, holding the title for 57 days before losing it to Raquel Rodriguez.
Despite already picking up championships in WWE, she has yet to compete in an actual WrestleMania match, making the entrance idea, for now, still a goal rather than a locked-in plan.
