Stephanie Vaquer is savoring a genuinely historic moment after capturing the WWE Women’s World Championship in her home country.
Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile on September 12 to become the new champion, a win notable not just for the location, but for the format.
It marked the first time in over six years that a WWE title had changed hands at a non-televised live event rather than on TV or pay-per-view.
Celebrating the moment on Instagram, Vaquer said simply that “we made the impossible possible”, marking the date and noting she’d become Women’s World Champion on home soil in Chile.
