Steven Borden and Garrett Borden are set to team for the first time, with the sons of WWE Hall of Famer Sting joining forces as the Borden Brothers at Rhodes Wrestling Association’s event on November 8.
Garrett was in action for RWA on September 13 and picked up the win. He was jumped after the match before Steven hit the ring to make the save, and the November 8 tag match was announced from there.
RWA is the Texas promotion founded by AEW’s Dustin Rhodes, who also runs the Rhodes Wrestling Academy. Garrett, the older of Sting’s two sons, made his in-ring debut for the company back in May, beating Brandon Barretta at Final Reckoning.
Both brothers appeared during Sting’s entrance for his final match at AEW Revolution 2024, each dressed as a different era of their father’s character. Sting has since called that retirement moment exactly what he had pictured.
Steven has been building a career of his own since his in-ring debut in October 2025, and Tony Khan has described developing him as a priority for AEW. He worked dark matches for the company from December 2025 before making his televised debut on the September 9 episode of Dynamite, where he teamed with Darby Allin to beat Josh Alexander and Mark Davis.
The RWA show in November will be the first time the brothers have worked together as a team.
