Mick Foley has been an AEW signee for roughly two months, and Tony Khan says fans should expect to see more of him.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast ahead of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the AEW president noted that Foley has a habit of turning up on the promotion’s biggest nights.
Fittingly, these are two of the best nights in the history of the company, so he picked two great nights to make his debut on pay-per-view with AEW at Double or Nothing, and on TV with AEW at Beach Break,” Khan said.
He then laid out what Foley’s schedule is likely to look like going forward.
So when Mick Foley is in the house, you know good things are gonna happen, and Mick’s gonna be a more regular presence in the show, I think,” Khan said. “Not necessarily every single week, but I’m excited to have Mick come in more and more.
Foley signed with AEW in May and debuted at Double or Nothing from Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, co-hosting The Buy In alongside Renee Paquette before getting pulled into the MJF and Darby Allin main event story, which ended with MJF hitting him with a low blow. His AEW television debut followed at Beach Break on July 8, the Dynamite special where Kenny Omega took the AEW World Championship from MJF.
