WWE’s biggest summer show already has a home lined up three years down the road.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a source with knowledge noted that Indianapolis is set to host SummerSlam 2029.
The plan traces back to a broader event agreement WWE struck with the Indiana Sports Corporation back in June 2024, covering multiple premium live events — with a future SummerSlam always part of that package. It’s now expected that 2029 will be the year that show actually lands.
Indianapolis has steadily built itself into a meaningful market for WWE. The city hosted the inaugural WrestlePalooza event last year, giving the company a strong foothold there ahead of what would be an even bigger SummerSlam weekend down the line.
WWE hasn’t yet made an official announcement confirming the venue or exact date for SummerSlam 2029, but with Indianapolis now reportedly locked in as the host city, it adds another major stop to the company’s long-term event calendar.
