AEW Dynamite was an interesting show this week. There was a bit of chaos surrounding changes that needed to be made to the show Then former AEW World Champion Adam “Hangman” Page suffered an injury during a multi-man tag team match later on. Now, we have some new information about that story.
PRAYERS UP FOR HANGMAN!??
looks like he rolled his ankle getting out of the Muscle Buster and was actively telling the cameraman "Don't Shoot Me" at the end https://t.co/5FV57rZAgS

Hangman Page’s Current Situation
During the conclusion of the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page caused concern among fans when he appeared to be injured. He landed on his feet as he got out of a Muscle Buster from Samoa Joe.
Page did not return to the match, and he appeared to be in a lot of pain. RVD later took a choke and lost the match, as the AEW World Champion won the match for his team.
After holding his ankle and signaling for the cameras to refrain from filming him, Hangman was assisted backstage while visibly limping.
However, Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that this was part of a scripted angle, and Hangman was uninjured once he reached the backstage area.
We’re told this could be worked into the show now, but upon returning to the backstage area, Page was completely fine. One talent used a phrase that has often been used in situations like this “yeah, he’s okay. He’s just good at his job.”
What’s Next
We will have to see how AEW uses this injury angle in their storyline. They just brought Jennifer Pepperman in as their new VP of Content, and she was with WWE as a Senior Writer for years.
As of now, AEW has not released an official update regarding Hangman Page’s status. SEScoops will have ongoing coverage of this story.
