Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite built as ‘Sting’s Final Dynamite’ was an emotional show for many fans and the company did not disappoint when it came to helping people relive the nostalgia one more time before The Icon’s final match this Sunday.
Throughout the show, The Young Bucks were looking for the wrestling veteran but they failed to find him backstage. They finally came down to the ring after the main event match between Chris Jericho and Atlantis Jr.
The EVPs were confronted by a bunch of fans in Sting masks, one of whom turned out to be Darby Allin. Though having the number’s advantage, they took out the former TNT champion. The duo also took out Flair when he turned on them.
This is when Sting’s music finally hit and the Bucks went to the ramp to confront the wrestling legend. Sting however, came from the rafters one final time and used his bat to take down their Revolution opponents. The show ended with Allin nailing Matthew Jackson with a Coffin Drop as Sting delivered a Scorpion Death Drop to Nicholas.
