Toni Storm Returns On AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming

Toni Storm made her long-awaited return on this week’s AEW Dynamite, and has seemingly left her ‘Timeless’ days in the past. On the Winter Is Coming show, Mariah May retained the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa.

Storm arrived to interrupt May’s celebration and was in her original outfit and used her ‘Watch What’s Next’ theme song. May was shocked to see her former mentor’s return, while Thunder Rosa, who was sitting in the crowd, held a ‘WTF’ sign.

Storm had been missing since AEW All In: London in August, where she lost the AEW Women’s World Title to May. Storm, still the Timeless One at the time, left the show by wandering into the streets of London. Last month, Storm claimed that she was retiring from wrestling and that AEW would be fine without her.

Now though, Storm is back, much to the chagrin of May, and those wanting celebrity-endorsed tacos in Mexico. Storm has previously suggested she’d wait until AEW Grand Slam: Australia to challenge for the gold, and it remains to be seen if AEW will wait until the February 2025 show. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Toni Storm now that former champion is back, and isn’t living in the past.
