– Lana has signed a new 5-year contract with WWE, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. She has been with the company since 2013 and is currently featured in the love triangle storyline with her husband Rusev and Bobby Lashley.
Rusev is currently in negotiations with WWE, but the two sides have not yet agreed upon a new deal.
– WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about NXT and his time as a coach at the Performance Center in Orlando.
Although Michaels has made a few appearances on WWE television in recent months, he prefers working behind the scenes at this stage of his career.
“I’d rather stay behind the scenes and let the stars of tomorrow take their rightful place,” said Michaels. “My time has come and gone. This is all about them.”
Michaels added that “NXT is wrestling at its best” and he’s focused on showing the world that NXT has them most talented wrestlers in WWE.
