In a cryptic video segment, Gable was shown in Mexico, seeking a deeper understanding of lucha libre. As he displayed a picture to various locals, they seemed not to recognize him, adding to the mystery.
The vignette took a dramatic turn when Gable encountered a mysterious figure who warned him, “You can’t fight what you don’t understand.”
The man then told Gable that he must become lucha before handing him a box in exchange for payment.
The video ended with Gable staring in shock at whatever was inside, leaving fans to wonder what comes next.
Chad Gable recently announced on RAW that he was taking a break from WWE to “learn the dark arts of Lucha Libre”. This storyline developed after Gable experienced a series of setbacks, including losses to Penta, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio.
Dominik Mysterio suggested a specific mentor for Gable’s training and provided directions to a mystery contact in Mexico.
