Darby Allin Confirms He Suffered Broken Foot, Postpones Mt. Everest Climb

Darby Allin will unfortunately have a different mountain to climb rather than Mt. Everest: a broken foot.

TMZ Sports has confirmed that Allin the injury happened at AEW Big Business during his single match with Jay White. after performing a senton flip to the outside onto Jay White only a few minutes into the match. TMZ had mislabeled the injury as his right foot but the picture shown indicates that it is Allin’s left foot that is broken.

Despite the injury, Allin continued to wrestle with said broken foot for a solid ten minutes before being defeated by Switchblade. Jay and The Gunn Club were going to exact more pain onto Allin post-match, but was stopped by Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed.

Allin had plans to climb Mt. Everest later this month, but due to the injury. Allin had to make the decision to postpone his climb until 2024. After the article was posted, Allin confirmed the disappointing news.

“Unfortunately the foots really broke from Wednesdays match. Everest will have to be next year.”

Darby Allin Making The Most Of His Injury

Allin has to be deflated at the speed bump of a broken foot, but he does plan to make the most of the situation. He told TMZ that one he gets a cast put on his foot, he’s going to have legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk do a stunt off of it for charity.

With all the wild spots Darby is notorious for doing, it’s wild to think that a flip to the outside would have put him on the shelf. We at SEScoops wish Darby a speedy recovery.
