Details On Jeff Hardy’s Expected Return &WWE Contract

Jeff Hardy is expected to return in November

The latest update on the status of Jeff Hardy under the WWE banner has surfaced. 

Fightful.com gave some details on Hardy’s future with WWE and his expected return. According to the report, Hardy’s WWE contract has been extended for “at least” one more year due to his injury that has placed him on the sidelines.

The internal injury list notes that Hardy is expected to return to in-ring action in November. 

Although his contract expiration date is not exactly known, his brother, Matt, is under contract with the company through March of 2020.

Hardy underwent knee surgery back in May. At the time, the expected timeline that he is going to be out of action for approximately 6-9 months following surgery to repair a damaged knee.

Prior to the injury, the Hardy brothers defeated The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) on the post-WrestleMania 35 episode of Smackdown Live in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

It’s been reported that Hardy got injured while working a SmackDown live event in Madison, Wisconsin where The Hardyz teamed up to defeat The Usos.

Since then, his brother hasn’t been used on WWE television much.
