Interesting Stipulation Advertised For Roman Reigns Match At WWE Events

WWE is going forward with Reigns vs. Corbin

WWE has updated its promotional material for upcoming events that features a match involving Roman Reigns.

WWE will air episodes of Friday Night SmackDown at the SAP Center in San Jose on February 7th and the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on February 14th.

Roman Reigns Match Type

Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin in a “loser eats dog food” match is being advertised for both shows. Here is the advertisement from SAPCenter.com:

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is coming to San Jose! Double Main Event! Your chance to see Daniel Bryan vs. Universal Champion ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin in a loser eats dog food match, plus SmackDown Tag Team Champions the New Day, SmackDown Women’s Champion Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and more! *Card is subject to change.

Keep in mind that these matches will likely serve as dark matches for the live crowd in attendance and not air on television.

Different Roman Reigns Match

With WWE, anything is possible and they could do the stipulation on television at some time but that hasn’t been reported up to this point.

It was originally reported that WWE had considered booking Reigns vs. Corbin in an interesting match type at the WWE TLC pay-per-view event.

They were at one point slated to have a dog collar match in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center on the WWE Network but plans changed to them having a TLC match.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Detroit, Michigan at Little Caesars Arena on FOX, Reigns attacked Corbin at the start and the main event of the show.

As a result, this ultimately cost him a shot at Bray Wyatt’s Universal Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event next month.
