Matt Hardy announced on his official Twitter account on Tuesday that he and his wife, Reby Hardy, are expecting their third child together. He made the announcement with this post:
The happily married couple already have two sons together as Maxel was born in June 2015, and Wolfgang Xander, born in June 2017. Congratulations to the couple.
Matt, who is currently assigned to the WWE SmackDown roster, made his return to action back in February after being out for an extended break to deal with nagging injuries. During his time away, he was “shadowing” WWE producers behind the scenes and is transitioning to a backstage role with the company.
In his return, he teamed up with his brother, Jeff, where they would later beat The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) on the post-WrestleMania 35 episode of Smackdown Live in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
Jeff had to undergo surgery and as a result, the brothers had to relinquish the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
