WWE SmackDown Live Viewership Drops For Super ShowDown Go-Home Show

Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Laredo, TX at the Sames Auto Arena averaged 2.016 million viewers, which is down from 1.983 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

The episode was expected to increase in viewership as this show was heavily hyped. This show served as the go-home show for the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event episode of SmackDown Live. The same episode last year drew 2.138 viewers.

The show had to go up against Hannity that did 2,947 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2,549 and Tucker Carlson Tonight that drew 2,860.

Matches that took place on this show include The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in a tag team match, WWE 24/7 Title Lumberjack Match, and Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair in a WWE SmackDown Women’s Title #1 Contendership Triple Threat Match.

Throughout the show, WWE hyped Goldberg appearing in the final segment to promote his match against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown that led to a staredown between the two legendary stars.
