WWE To Use Wild Card Rule At Live Events

WWE is not just using the Wild Card Rule on television for their weekly shows Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live but also at live events as well.

RAW star Dew McIntyre has been advertised for several upcoming SmackDown house shows. He is currently scheduled to miss the RAW TV event in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 3 and the June 10th show in Reno, Nevada.

Here is the list of dates of SmackDown shows he’s advertised to appear at:

– Saturday, June 1 in Waco, TX

– Sunday, June 2 in College Station, TX

– Monday, June 3 in Corpus Christi, TX

– Sunday, June 9 in Stockton, CA

– Monday, June 10 in Reno, NV

It’s no secret that live event business has been struggling for the past few years to the point where the company is starting to reschedule some SmackDown house shows due to the introduction of a new rule that was presented by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

This is a rule where members of RAW and SmackDown can appear on the other brand. This is a continuation of a rule that changes by the week regarding how many stars are allowed to appear on the two weekly television shows.
