German based promotion wXw host a yearly 16 man tournament that features some of the top independent talents on the circuit. The 16 Carat Tournament has been won by the likes of Tommy End, Chris Hero, El Generico (rumoured to be Sami Zayn) and Zack Sabre Jr.
wXw have announced that before this year’s event there will be an exclusive ‘Inner Circle’ event in front of around 100 fans at the wXw Training Academy. The following matches have been announced for the event:
- David Starr vs Matt Riddle (Making his wXw debut)
- Jeff Cobb (Making his wXw debut) vs Marius Al-Ani
- Absolute Andy vs Paul London
- Timothy Thatcher vs Francis Kaspin
