Rhea Ripley made her highly anticipated return on this week’s episode of Raw, which was taped last week at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI.
Ripley had been sidelined due to a fractured right orbital socket, an injury that forced her off television. The storyline injury was depicted earlier this month on NXT when Women’s World Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez attacked Ripley with baseball bats.
The segment showed Ripley lying next to her car, with a cut on her head and fake blood pouring out. Reports suggest the injury stemmed from a headbutt spot during the October 21st episode of Raw.
As a result of Ripley’s absence, WWE had to make adjustments to the Crown Jewel premium live event, where she was originally scheduled to face Rodriguez in a singles match.
Ripley made a dramatic comeback at the start of Raw, targeting Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. The confrontation escalated into a chaotic brawl involving Ripley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and IYO SKY, who stood tall over Morgan, Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Nia Jax.
While not yet confirmed, the events appear to be setting up a women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series next Saturday, adding to the excitement for the highly anticipated event.
Cathy Kelley and Kevin Owens experienced a dune buggy accident ahead of WWE’s Crown Jewel event from Saudi Arabia. As part of the pre-show festivities, WWE talent and staff participated in various activities, including dune buggy rides. During the Crown Jewel pre-show broadcast, it was revealed that Kelley and Owens had been involved in the accident.
Owens was originally scheduled to compete in a match against Randy Orton. However, the match took a dramatic turn as the two brawled outside the ring, leading to Orton being stretchered out of the venue. Speaking on B4TheBell, Cathy Kelley provided more details about the incident and reflected on her long-standing friendship with Owens. She shared:
“He’s been one of my friends for years. I’ve had many conversations with him off camera. We just got into a kind of traumatizing accident when we were in Saudi Arabia in a dune buggy. I kind of credit him for saving my life in that moment.
We rolled three and a half times in a dune buggy. He said his initial instinct was to protect me. I was holding onto a safety rail, he was right behind me. We could have gotten much more banged up than we did. We were really lucky that we walked out of it relatively unscathed.”
– Cathy Kelley on B4theBell
Kelley added that she came away with just a minor scratch on her hand, while Owens’ quick instincts potentially prevented more serious injuries.
Despite the harrowing experience, Owens is set to appear in a face-to-face segment with the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland raised eyebrows on Monday when he posted an x-ray image to social media, accompanied by the caption “These Hurt Syndicate beatings take a toll.”
While the image doesn’t appear to show any clear fractures or dislocations, the timing is concerning with Strickland’s high-profile match against the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley looming at Full Gear this Saturday.
Lashley is set to make his AEW debut against Strickland in what promises to be a hard-hitting affair. Given Strickland’s reputation as one of professional wrestling’s toughest competitors, the match is expected to proceed as planned barring any official announcement to the contrary.
More details about Strickland’s condition may emerge during this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Alexa Bliss is reassuring fans that she is eager to return to WWE, but unfortunately the timing of her comeback is out of her hands. On Monday, Bliss shared a “Where’s Alexa” meme on social media, sparking a wave of responses from fans who are excited to see her back in the ring.
She also addressed another fan’s comment suggesting she wasn’t interested in wrestling anymore, revealing instead that she’s been dealing with health issues since her last appearance.
You’re right – recovering from skin cancer removal, pregnancy, preeclampsia, and postpartum health complications back to back to back really does comes across as “doesn’t care” ?
Bliss’s most recent WWE match took place at the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE, where she faced then-Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Despite a post-match segment with Uncle Howdy hinting at a new storyline, Bliss disappeared from TV shortly afterward due to her pregnancy.
Despite the personal milestones and challenges Bliss has navigated during her nearly two-year absence, the 33-year-old remains enthusiastic about her in-ring return. Fans continue to hope for her comeback, and Bliss’s updates have kept the anticipation alive.
Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest updates on Alexa Bliss’s WWE future.
Becky Lynch assures her legion of fans, they haven’t seen the last of her.
Lynch has been out of the spotlight for the past several months. Her most recent WWE television appearance occurred on the May 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, when she attempted to recapture the Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan in a steel cage match. She came up short that night, thanks to Dirty Dom slamming the cage door in her face and allowing Morgan to eek out a victory.
As the saying goes, The Man ‘”‘ain’t going out like that.’
On Sunday, Lynch appeared at the Vulture Fest in Hollywood, CA to discuss her best-selling memoir Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl. Naturally, she was asked about her future in wrestling.
“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen.”
Lynch is expected back on WWE television for the WWE Raw Netflix premiere on Monday, January 6, 2025 from Los Angeles.
Here’s a preview for tonight’s WWE Raw, broadcasting on the USA Network at 8/7c:

Travis Scott’s wrestling fandom is no secret and now the rap artist has been gifted a custom Hardcore Championship, courtesy of Triple H. At Scott’s latest concert, the WWE’s Chief Content Officer stunned attendees with his surprise appearance and his unique gift for the founder of Cactus Jack Records.
When we say WWE goes big, we mean it. The first #WWERaw of the @netflix Era will be at the @IntuitDome in Los Angeles on January 6th, and @trvisXX will be there live and in person.
Last month, it was reported that Scott had been in talks to appear on the debut Raw of 2025. The rap artist has never shied away from his WWE fandom and performed at the recent ComplexCon which also featured CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and other WWE names.
Scott is already a huge name in the world of music and his role with WWE will provide the opportunity for more crossover for rap and wrestling fans. Whether Travis Scott defends his Hardcore Championship, that remains to be seen, but expect plenty more from the artist, especially when Raw moves to Netflix in January.
As AEW Full Gear 2024 approaches, the wrestling world is abuzz with speculation about potential debuts at the highly anticipated event. Set to take place on November 23 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Full Gear has a history of delivering shocking moments and introducing new talent.
Let’s explore some of the most exciting rumors circulating about possible debuts at this year’s show.
Several former WWE stars are rumored to be making their AEW debuts at Full Gear 2024. Among the most talked-about names are Mustafa Ali and Shane McMahon.
Mustafa Ali, who has been absent from television since July 2024, is a free agent and could potentially join Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction. His high-flying style and previous success as TNA X Division Champion make him an exciting prospect for AEW.
Shane McMahon, despite seemingly denying rumors, was at one point spotted with AEW president Tony Khan for a meeting earlier this year. His experience in creative roles and in-ring abilities could be valuable assets to AEW.
Independent Wrestling Sensations
‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey is expected to join AEW soon, according to recent reports. The former TNA X-Division Champion’s exciting in-ring style aligns perfectly with AEW’s fast-paced action, and this could be the venue for this introduction to the company.
Surprise Returns and Faction Debuts
While not strictly debuts, there are rumors of surprise returns and new faction introductions at Full Gear 2024. These could include established AEW stars aligning with new groups or returning from injury. There isn’t much here to dig into, so take it with a grain of salt.
Impact on AEW’s Roster
These potential debuts could significantly impact AEW’s roster dynamics. New talent brings fresh matchups, storylines, and opportunities for existing stars to evolve their characters.
As with all rumors, it’s important to approach these potential debuts with cautious excitement. AEW has a track record of delivering surprises, but plans can change rapidly in the world of professional wrestling. Regardless of who debuts, AEW Full Gear 2024 promises to be an electrifying event that will shape the promotion’s future direction.
AEW Full Gear 2024 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated wrestling events of the year, with ticket sales reflecting the growing excitement among fans. As the pay-per-view event draws closer, let’s take a closer look at the current ticket sales and what they mean for AEW’s popularity.
As of the latest update, AEW Full Gear 2024, scheduled for November 23 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, has sold around 7,407 tickets. This marks a significant increase of 1,267 tickets in just four days, demonstrating the event’s growing appeal.
With around 962 tickets still available and a current setup capacity of 8,369, the event is on track to potentially sell out.

When comparing the ticket sales for Full Gear 2024 to previous AEW events, we can see a positive trend:
Full Gear 2023: The event held at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, drew an impressive attendance of 12,904 fans.
Double or Nothing 2024: This event, which took place on May 26 in Las Vegas, drew 9,099 paying attendees, generating a gate of $582,204.
Expectations for Future Sales
With six days remaining until the event, it is anticipated that there will be a final surge in ticket sales with another episode of Dynamite to help further and sell the card.
AEW’s track record shows a pattern of significant last-minute sales for pay-per-view events, often pushing venues close to or at capacity. If this trend continues, Full Gear 2024 could potentially sell out.
As AEW Full Gear 2024 approaches, the strong ticket sales serve as a testament to the company’s growing popularity and the fans’ enthusiasm for high-quality professional wrestling entertainment.
With the event nearly sold out and expectations high, Full Gear 2024 is poised to be a landmark event for AEW and its devoted fanbase.

Josh Alexander, a two-time Impact World Champion, has officially announced his retirement from independent wrestling. The announcement was made during Northern Crown Wrestling’s live show in Toronto on Sunday. Davie Portman from the Poisonrana podcast was in attendance and shared this footage:
Alexander hinted that this decision stems from an upcoming wrestling commitment that demands exclusivity or a significant amount of his focus, prompting him to prioritize this new chapter in his career.
After 20 years in independent wrestling, Josh has decided it’s time to move on. In a follow-up post on social media, he expresses his love for the journey which included traveling worldwide, working with great people, and performing for fans. He encourages the next generation of wrestlers to rise and fill the potential gap he might leave in the Canadian wrestling scene.
Alexander thanks the wrestling promotions for booking him, aiding in supporting his family financially; fellow wrestlers for the learning experiences from every match and the fans for their support which kept him motivated during tough times. While he’s stepping away from indie bookings, he implies that this isn’t a complete goodbye but rather a “see you later.”
His last indie show will be at WrestlePrestige on January 11th.
Regardless of what may or may not be in my future. After talking with my family I’ve made the decision to stop taking Indie dates.
I’ve loved my time in the independents these past 20yrs. I’ve done amazing things, worked with amazing people and got to travel the world performing… pic.twitter.com/Dh4ZiKyG1o

Recent reports indicate that AEW and Danhausen have had limited communication over the past six months, aside from approvals for independent bookings. The wrestler, known for his comedic persona, has faced delays in returning to AEW programming since recovering from an injury.
Return Delays and Communication Struggles
According to Fightful Select, Danhausen was initially slated to return about a year ago but expressed frustration to AEW President Tony Khan when plans for his comeback were altered. While creative pitches for his return were proposed earlier this year, none materialized, despite Danhausen’s willingness to rejoin AEW’s active roster.
Conflicting Priorities and Misunderstandings
Sources within AEW believed Danhausen preferred focusing on independent wrestling commitments rather than working AEW’s Collision, which airs on Saturdays. However, Danhausen reportedly conveyed that family-related circumstances impacted his availability. AEW insiders noted that he continued participating in independent events during this time, which may have contributed to the perception that he was deprioritizing Collision.
Current Status
Danhausen’s future with AEW remains uncertain, with no indication of a timeline for his return to the promotion’s programming. Both sides appear to have differing perspectives on his recent career choices, leaving the door open for further discussions.

Tama Tonga has hinted at significant developments involving The Rock and WWE’s Bloodline faction. Following The Rock’s unexpected appearance at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event in Atlanta six weeks ago, speculation has grown about his role within the Bloodline.
A prevalent theory suggests that The Rock is orchestrating Solo Sikoa’s revamped Bloodline, which now includes Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga. During The Rock’s appearance at Bad Blood, footage captured Sikoa mentioning that The Rock’s involvement was part of “the plan,” adding weight to this theory.
Solo mentioned Roman needs to find 4 other people for wargames. Not 3.
Now we know, Sami isn’t on Team Solo after he fooled him again.
But Back at Bad Blood, when The Rock returned solo said, “it’s all part of the plan”
Further fueling speculation, recent footage from SmackDown showed Tama Tonga making a throat-cut gesture similar to one The Rock made at Bad Blood. When a Twitter user claimed this gesture confirmed The Rock’s leadership of the Bloodline,
Tama Tonga responded with a cryptic “Shhhhhhhh,” suggesting that a revelation about The Rock’s involvement may be forthcoming.
Pharaoh is not worried about Larry outdrawing him in T-shirt sales because he has more products on the shelf.
Cody Rhodes’ dog Pharaoh has made many wrestling appearances alongside the current Undisputed Champion over the years in different companies. While CM Punk’s Larry has recently become a viral sensation after being featured in several WWE social media videos in the last few months.
The new-found stardom has led to Larry getting his own merchandise on WWE shop. His T-shirt specifically is said to be outdrawing even many wrestling legends in sales.
Pharoh Thinks He Is The Bigger Star
The American Nightmare was asked about the rumors of Larry’s T-shirt sales and how Pharoh feels about it in a new interview with Adrian Hernandez. Rhodes explained that Pharoh is not worried.
He suggested that Pharaoh finds himself to be the biggest star still with more number of products available to buy, including things like his much-loved plush toy:
“No I don’t think that’s a rumor. So Pharoh has more, this going to sound so inside, he has more SKUs on the shelf. He’s got a couple shirts, the plushes. So Larry is killing it. He should be [proud].
We love Larry in our house. CM Punk loves Pharaoh. But Larry’s not there yet. I don’t doubt Larry’s going to get there. We’re talking about dogs alright, it’s just dogs. Larry’s on his way.”
While Pharaoh might have more products on the shelf at the moment, Larry seems to be coming for his spot. With his own newly launched plush toy, the Punk clan member is definitely targeting the #1 position and Pharaoh will have to work extra hard if he wants to maintain his status in the ever-competitive world of pro wrestling.
Apart from this, Cody Rhodes also talked about things such as rumors of Rock’s WrestleMania 41 status, his Extreme Rules match with Big Show and more. You can check out his full interview below:
The Rock will have a key role to play at WrestleMania 41 next April, whether he’s in the ring or not, so says WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Speaking to Adrian Hernandez at ComplexCon, Rhodes addressed the possibility of the Final Boss being involved in next year’s two-night spectacle which will take place from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
“Whether he’s in the ring or not, he is very much still involved with what happens at 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he’ll come looking for, and I know what to expect.”
Rhodes’ comments come one month after a report that Johnson had informed WWE that he’d be too busy to make WrestleMania due to his Hollywood commitments. Johnson himself refuted the claim with some choice language on his Instagram.
The Rock calls bullshit on the Meltzer report that he told #WWE he won’t be at WrestleMania 41 pic.twitter.com/wfyhe3RkeZ
Whether The Rock appears or not, another name fans could see next April is Steve Austin, who missed this year’s festivities in Philadelphia. During the interview, Rhodes hoped that the Rattlesnake will be around for WrestleMania 41.
“The invitation’s there. He’s also not far, I mean, we could helicopter him 3 hours away, Great American Bash style… I just would like him to be around to see how we’re doing…. I hope he’s proud of all of us because he really has set the table for us.”
Whether he’s in the ring or not, fans can expect The Rock to play a pivotal role in next year’s Showcase of the Immortals, while Rhodes intends to headline the event for the fourth time. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Cody Rhodes and The Rock as their paths seem destined to cross next April in Las Vegas, Nevada.
WWE’s final boss and Hollywood A-Lister Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has once again shown his generous side by giving the kids at the LA Watts Empowerment Center a brand new bus. On Instagram, Johnson shared a video of the special gifts to the kids, many of whom have never left their neighborhoods or enjoyed a fun day at the beach.
The kids will be traveling in style in their custom-made bus to a cinema to see Johnson’s new movie Red One, as he also gifted them tickets with popcorn. The kids also received $100 gift cards as the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’s generosity knows no bounds.
The Watts Empowerment Center in Los Angeles aims to help children, youth, and families within Watts Housing Projects. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Dwayne Johnson and his major moves, both in and out of the world of entertainment.

Mina Shirakawa Returns to Action

Later in the show, it was announced that Shirakawa is set to join AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May at Full Gear for a “Champagne Championship Celebration.”
Samantha Irvin’s unexpected departure from WWE took many by surprise, as have her comments about her views on ring announcing since her exit. This week, Irvin once again responded to a fan critical of what she’s had to say post-WWE and doesn’t believe she has ‘burned a bridge’ with the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.
Responding to an online commenter who said that Irvin and Ricochet have both burned bridges with WWE, Irvin said that she took to AI service Grok to find any proof of this.
So funny I asked Grok today what bad thing I said about WWE since I have no idea what everyone is talking about :)
Irvin later added that she tried to inject some personality into her role as a ring announcer with a comparison to the late comedy actor Robin Williams. Irvin believes those criticizing her now were hardly fans of her during her time with WWE which ended last month.

Some online commentators have taken issue with Irvin’s post-WWE comments, but here is what she has actually said:
In her initial farewell statement, Irvin shared love for the WWE fans and those working in the company. She said that she was grateful to Triple H for trusting her in the ring announcer role and that she was “proud to have used my voice” as part of WWE.
Irvin later clarified a false report about when she notified WWE of her exit. While the report said she only told WWE mere hours before an episode of Raw, Irvin actually informed higher-ups months earlier.
Irvin later said she didn’t like announcing, and had initially seen the role as a way into other WWE performances like a manager or GM. Irin made clear that she loves watching WWE action.
