AEW Dynamite, AEW Collision and live AEW pay-per-view events will stream exclusively in Japan on Hulu Japan beginning November 2026. AEW and Hulu Japan announced the agreement this week, giving the company a dedicated Japanese streaming partner again after its NJPW World arrangement ran out over the summer.
https://x.com/AEW/status/2100026943219347866Hulu Japan is operated by HJ Holdings, Inc. and is officially accessible only inside Japan. The service is owned by Nippon Television and is separate from the Disney-run Hulu in the United States.
AEW said more information on the partnership is coming soon. Pricing, the exact November start date, and what exclusivity means for MyAEW subscribers in Japan haven’t been announced.
Why AEW Needed A New Home In Japan
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced in late May that AEW programming would leave NJPW World when the contract term ended on August 31, 2026. The service stopped adding new episodes after the June 24 Dynamite and June 27 Collision, and pointed fans in Japan to MyAEW from July onward.
That notice arrived the same week Bushiroad announced it was transferring all of its NJPW shares to TV Asahi and CyberAgent. The sale closed at the end of June, and NJPW now operates as a consolidated subsidiary of TV Asahi.
The Hulu Japan deal places AEW’s weekly shows with Nippon TV, a different broadcaster from NJPW’s new parent. The co-promoted Forbidden Door pay-per-views remain available to buy and watch on NJPW World.
This is AEW’s second international rights deal in two weeks. On September 3, the company announced that TOD by beIN would carry Dynamite, Collision and major live events across the Middle East and North Africa, including All Out on September 26 in Chicago.
