An AEW veteran has been pulled from tonight's Dynamite and a series of independent bookings this week due to a health issue.
According to PWInsider, Eddie Kingston is not present at tonight's AEW Dynamite & Collision taping at Mission Ballroom in Denver. The Mad King has been dealing with severe migraine headaches and is tending to his health.
Beyond missing tonight's show, Kingston has also withdrawn from his scheduled independent appearances this weekend. P
ro Wrestling Junkies confirmed he was set to lead a seminar alongside Ortiz and participate in a meet & greet, but will no longer be attending. The promotion announced that all meet & greet ticket money will be fully refunded, with Ortiz offering to run the seminar free of charge.
Significant Timing for Kingston
The missed dates carry added weight given where Kingston is in his career. He has publicly stated that 2026 will be his final year working the independent circuit, with plans to step away from indie bookings entirely by November. He and Ortiz are also working toward opening a wrestling school together.
There is no timetable given for Kingston's return, but AEW and the wrestling community will hope the veteran is back on his feet quickly.
